After the attack Adela, Luke, Chris, and other campers helped clean up the mess from the hellhound attack.Luke took charge to tell the campers what to do.
Chiron was dealing with the kids so Adela and Luke took care of the clean up. Adela was happy to do it. Her strength returned but her injuries were still visible.
With over twenty campers cleaning up they got it done with in two hours. The Apollo kids helped heal anyone that was hurt from the attack.
The infirmary filled up after Adela left. Kids that were too scared to walk out of their cabins finally came in to get healed.
Adela wished she could have stayed and helped them but she had to help clean up. There was a lot of damage.
But Adela feared for what's to come.
The Gods were fighting.
And the campers were picking sides.
Friendships would be ruined. Trust would be broken. Hearts would be broken, amongst many other things.
But Adela didn't know what side to be on. She didn't like Zeus at all. He was arrogant, selfish. She doesn't like him as a ruler.
Poseidon on the other hand. He was different. Nicer than Zeus. But he was still a God. All Gods don't care about their families. They don't care about anyone. They only care about power.
But Poseidon wasn't like Zeus. He was the better God. He doesn't only care about power. Not like the rest of them.
But still, Adela didn't want to choose sides.
Percy is innocent. He didn't steal the bolt. Poseidon knows that. She knows it. Everyone that's knows, knows that Percy doesn't have it.
Zeus shouldn't be starting a war over it. He has no trust in his brother's word.
Thats what Adela doesn't like.
But she can't do anything about it. She just has to sit back and wait for it to start. Can't interfere or the Gods would punish.
Thats what they do.
When you do something they don't like, they just get rid of you. Curse you, punish you, exile you.
After they were done cleaning they walked down by the water and sat down on a fallen tree right above the water on the edge of the sand bank.
"All I know is after the summer is over and we make it, I think I'm going to go leave camp for a while." Adela said. Luke looked from the water to her.
"And what are you going to do?" He asked.
"I don't know. There's a lot I can do. Go to school, get my drivers license, get a job, make friends with regular people. I haven't been in the outside world in years." Adela lifted off.
"That sounds nice." Luke said. Adela smiled at him. "You should join me." She said. "No, I couldn't." He said, looking down at the water beneath him.
"Why not?" She asked with a slight laugh.
"The last time I was in the world I nearly died. Monsters everywhere. And I left it behind for another reason." He said.
Adela's smiled faded. "Something to do with your dad?" She asked. He nodded. "Yeah, something like that." He said to her.
Luke didn't want to mention his mom to her. He trusted her enough to tell her but he didn't want to do that. Build more trust.
"And I have some important things to do." Luke said. He looked at her. "But that's okay. You should do and go where you want." Luke said, putting his hand on her knee. "But I don't want to leave you." She said.
He shrugged his shoulders. "It's alright. If you don't like it out there, you can always come back here. Back to me." He said.
"I'll always come back to you." Adela said. Luke put his hand on her face and leaned in and kissed her. After a few seconds he pulled away and leaned his forehead against hers.
"I love you." He whispered and Adela smiled.
"I love you too."

did what he did. Also I made Percy Jackson camp necklaces.
I'm not an artist or a crafty person but I think
