"He what?" Taehyung's voice is low, and his eyes are huge.

"He fucking overdosed what do you think I said! Now call the damn doctor!" Hoseok shouts, rushing back upstairs. Taehyung fumbles for his phone.

I don't know what to do, but Taehyung points for me to follow Hoseok, so I do. I don't even make it up the steps behind him before the front doors are pounded on harshly.

The confusion and worry only grow each second, even though just moments before everything was so peaceful and calm.

Hurrying to the door, I open it slightly, but it gets kicked open. Jimin stands there in his red, sleeping robe. "Where's Jungkook?" He's so upset that he's about to lose control. "I was speeding the whole way here."

"Hoseok's with him upstairs. He said he overdosed. How did you know?"

"It wasn't an accident. He went live, snorted too much cocaine, and swallowed a bunch of pills. He was trying to overdose." Jimin's honesty sends heavy guilt through me.

Taehyung and I left earlier to get that for him, and he was trying to end his life? By the way that Taehyung was discussing it, he acted as if it would help him, not give him the power to do something as extreme as this.

I turn around when Hoseok screams with urgency. Jimin and I take off up the stairs, and someone else follows behind Jimin.

Jimin and I, along with the stranger who came with him, rush up the stairs to find Hoseok in a panic.

"He's having a seizure! He was still awake but barely when I left a moment ago!"

It's a terrible sight. Jungkook is jerking on the carpeted floor, limbs flying everywhere because he can't control his own body. I've never witnessed this up close and wish I never had to see it, especially with someone I know.

I cover my mouth. Jimin rushes to Jungkook and gently positions his head on his lap, turning him on his side to breathe better. None of us seem to know what to do to help, and Jimin's even saying how he's only seen this done once before.

Jungkook's eyes make me go still. The way they're rolled back in his head has me hating myself. If Taehyung and I never left to get that for him, then he would be fine right now.

"It's okay, Jungkook. We're here, buddy." Hoseok speaks softly to him, trying to comfort him even if he can't hear him. Hoseok has to turn away when he can't take the sight any longer. The worst part is this—waiting for his body to stop on its own.

"How's he doing?" Taehyung jogs up, stopping at the doorframe beside me with his mouth hanging open from the disturbing sight of seeing his friend like this.

Taehyung stares ahead like me, having no idea what to do except to say that the doctor is on his way. Jungkook finally stops jerking. When Jimin thinks it's safe to move his body, Jimin and the other man gently move him to the bed to rest. He's out of it—sleeping is what Jimin says.

While those two put Jungkook into bed and care for him, Hoseok stands up shakily. He walks to Taehyung with his eyes lowered to the ground and bangs covering his face.

Taehyung looks lost, as if in some daze. "I didn't know this would happen—"

Hoseok snaps, balling his hand into a fist before punching Taehyung right in the face, sending him staggering back into the dark hallway. Taehyung lands roughly on the ground, wiping his lip with the back of his hand, and smears the blood around his mouth.

"You didn't know? You gave him cocaine! You're the reason he's like this! You know he doesn't need it and now look—"

"Guys," Jimin calls to stop the argument.
