Chapter 5

"how bout this one KJ?" noen stated holding ou a beautigfully knitted yellow beanie to the distraught egeniier. they had spent most of the day going through the plaze and shops with Raze, buying thing occianly. now Pheonix and Yoru were sitting at a table nearby, with everyones bags at thier feet, while Raze went to get them something to eat. Neon had spotted a really cute hat stand, and had pratically dragged the egienner to it so they could look and try to find KJ a new beanie. said egnieer looked over the yellow banie with a thoughtful look before pulling it on and adusting it on her head in the mirror, befor shaking her head and pulling off the beanie, messing her hair up slightly. "sorry neon but no.. its just not the right one." noen surrprsed a groan, knowing killjoy wasnt trying to be diffiult on purpose, though that was the 10th beanie they tried at this stand. at that moment Raze retruend with food, much to Pheonix and Yours glee, both of which started cheering loudly at the sight of the food.

 "cmon looks like Raze is back.. lets go eat." Killjoy said leadig the younger agent away with the stand, with a wave and a goodbye to the kind merchant. they sat as Raze was handing out the food. "youll enjoy this i promise, one of the best food stands here!" raze said proudly taking a seat herself and quickly digging into the food. killjoy followed suit, already loving the praticular dish since Raze made it for her a couple times. noises of amzement and praise started spilling from the other three agents as they followed suit. "yooo this is really good! what is it called?" "whats in it?" "thi is the best dish i have ever tasted!" raze just laughs softy and finshed her mouthful. "its called Moqueca de Camarão, Moqueca is a coconut based stew with seafood! its from Bahia region." raze said quickly answering both of the questions quickly. the girls laughng as Pheonix and Yoru started scarffing it down. "slow down you two, brimstone would kill me if you two choked." Raze said. 

when they had all eaten, they wandered the streets and stands until the afternon sun became to hot for the other agents. they then headed back to Razes grage and just relaxed in the air condition. Pheonix and Yoru started playing some sort of game they made up, while neon and Killjoy watched and bet on them. Raze just shok her head fondly at her friends, before the sound of a text alerted her to her phone. the message was from cypher, stating that he found what she was looking for and had already sent it out to her. she smiled and typed out a thanks, then tlling him that he can take 3 parts he needs from her room before shutting off the phone. Killjoy had been walking over to aze, a sour look on her face as she reached her friend.Raze chuckled softly at her look reaching out and taking Killjoys hand. "whats wrong kj? lose the bet?" Killjoy just groned and nodded, leaning agasint Raze lightly, taking a seat against the boxes. "yep.. pheonix sucks at their game.. it was complete nonsens too!" Raze just smiled as Killjoy started ranting, watching her eyebrows furrowing softly and the concertrated look she has reserved for arguments or her bots. she didnt knw how long she was watching killjoy rant, only snapping out of it when Pheonix started yelling.

 finally noticing killjoys worried expersionn as she pushed off the box, Raze turned her attention to the three agents, who had moved outside. neon was on the ground, holdinger her arm tightly, with yoru beside her and pheonix in front. Raze finally studied the guy who was super close to pheonix and growled softly, finally pushing off the boxes and to the group. killjoy was already there standing just beind Pheonix glaring at the guy. "aw whattt? couldnt handle yourself so you called in backup?" the guy mocked glaring at pheonix, then to killjoy. when his gaze found Raze, who had crouched down to check on the younger agent his smirk grew. "ah, the famouse bombs expert. whered you go little criança." Raze stood up and glared back at the guy, noticing that he had two more poeple right behid him. "like you should know Antonio. why dont you go run along and play, insted of piking on my friend." Antonio's smrik fell from his face at her words, his fist clenching. "why you little..por que vocês não correm e mexem, antes que eu transforme todos vocês em polpas." Killjoy stepped closer getting her nanoswarm ready, out of linesight of the leader infront of her, before a soft hand had her freezing. turning raze met her gaze and with a slight shake of her head killjoy sighed but put away the bombs. "im telling you one more time antonio.. you know my bombs? well this one has much better tech and this ones got fire. do you really want to test me? Raze stepped forward pointing to Killjoy than phoenix when she mentioned them. that got anotnios attention and he back off with a coff, leading his friedns away. with that settled Killjoy huffed softly, and reached up to adjust her hat, before rmebeng she didnt have it. insted turning and checking on neon. 

raze watched as the other four walked inside talking about something before the sounds of a vespa distrated her. "package for.... Tay?" she smiled and took the offered box waving the dilvery man away. checking the adress to confrim it was from the protocol she smiled, planning on giving the beanie to killjoy at the festival. putting it on the desk she ran ver to join the other agents in a game, laughing and teasing Pheonix, though her mind completly on the festival tomorrow, and a certian engineer that she managed to fall for.
