Chapter 17: The Shackles Break

[With Leo...]

He arrives in the Arena and remembers the place.

This place is.... he thought.

Then he sees a little kid who looks 8 yrs. old but upon taking a closer look, he realizes it was him.

"That's me, so that means this is my memory."

Leo mumbles.

He follows his younger version of himself as he witnesses his memories, after a while he starts to wonder.

"Where's Lilith?? Why haven't I seen her yet? Did the system fuck up again?"

He asks.

Then his memory stops at an abandoned place, his younger version enters.

"Oh yeah.... this was the time Lilith left the planet and never came back..."

He sadly recalls.

"Even though she left, I still kept visiting her room in hopes that she would be back...."

Leo scoffs at himself.

"But who am I kidding? Anyone would want to run away with the family they have."

Just as he continues to watch, a person appears in front of him.

"You must be Leo, Top 64 in the rankings."

"Uh yeah and you are?"

He asks.

"Hmph! I am Anders, The top 51 in the rankings. How arrogant of you to not know my name!"

He exclaims.

"Wut??"

Leo said with a dumbfounded look on his face.

"I don't even know you."

He says.

Anders got furious at him, he starts to attack him but the next second his body is on the floor and isn't moving an inch. To be precise it was like he has a huge boulder on his back, due to the pressure he has difficulty breathing despite this he tries to get up but each time his back gets heavier.

"Wha!- What is this!?"

He looks up to Leo who was standing still and looking down on him that's when he realize he messed with the wrong person, all of a sudden he cries and vomits blood.

"Wait! Wait! Please don't kill me! I'll do anything!!"

He begs him to spare his life, he screams in agony as the pain is unbearable. Leo, on the other hand just looks at him mercilessly.

"Don't get me wrong I'm not killing you because you're my opponent..."

He looks at him coldly.

"Then spare me!!! Please!!"

Anders begs him again, his body starts to bleed out of nowhere.

"I'm killing you because I couldn't care less about anyone else except my sister."

And with that, Leo snaps his fingers. He manipulates the blood inside of Anders explode, causing him to die.

Anders's blood and body splatters everywhere, Leo gets caught up in the mess.

"Aw, shucks. Now I gotta clean myself up."

He complains, trying to wipe the blood off of him.
