Chapter 25: Finding My Purpose

"Due to my mistakes, Ray have escaped. Please allow me another chance to end him personally."

Palos said from the other side of the wormhole.

"Are you sure Ray is here?"

Silver asks him suspiciously.

"We gave him so much trouble, he won't give up so easily."

Palos states the truth, Ray is angry at Palos for making the same choice again.

"Palos...."

He said furiously.

Although Silver is reluctant about bringing him over to his side, he still gives him a chance.

"Your guess is correct."

He said as he lets Palos enter the wormhole.

"I knew it.... siding with Silver, is the only correct choice for survival."

He said, looking at the huge badge that is causing the black dome to operate.

"Boss, you don't have to deal with small fry personally. My years in the pirate crew..... allowed me to find a secret weapon to use against Ray."

Palos said confidently, Ray is surprised by his words.

"Oh? It appears I have been underestimating you."

Silver said, thinking this Palos knows the jig is up. Silver attacks Palos but he summoned his shadow clones as they hold him down.

Pelley comes out of the wormhole while holding a gravity ball, he intends to throw it at the badge but Silver uses his chain to grab him and throw him on the ground. Luckily, that was a shadow clone of Pelley made by Palos and Silver fell for that trick.

"Wrong, that was a fake too."

Palos said as he snaps his fingers, exploding the shadow clones that was holding Silver.

Looks like Palos has decided to change sides but....... this won't end well for him.... Lilith thought.

"Secret weapon, could it be..... The Great Gazelle Jump!"

Ray exclaims, realizing Palos's plans. Ray immediately runs to them, Camil also realized this and rushes forward to help them.

Silver was able to withstand the explosion and he comes out unscathed, Palos explodes another shadow clone at the same time he makes his escape. Unfortunately, Silver manages to grab him with his chains and bring him back to him. He attacks him from behind, his hand looking as if it pierced Palos's back. Palos screams from the pain.

"You damn rat, coming back to get yourself killed!"

Silver said as he looks down on him, hearing this Palos chuckles.

"That isn't.... for sure. Wrong again, you idiot!"

Palos mocks him, Silver looks behind him to see the real Palos and Pelley making his gravity ball.

"Ever heard of a distraction? Aim it well!"

Palos said to Pelley.

"Now I get it!"

Lilith exclaims as she understands their plan.

"No need to tell me!"

Pelley throws his gravity ball at the enormous badge above them.
