She wasn't getting away that easily.
"If I am such a big, bad wolf, why didn't you say anything then? Why didn't you go to the proper council?" I asked as we made our way casually around the buffet table, "Speak when you're spoken to, gamma."
She turned to me, her eyes as black as the darkest soul. I knew I'd made her angry, but I cared not. She'd been my pest for far too long.
"Because... Because I thought I wanted you, too."
She turned to see a fellow pack member sauntering up to us so I let the matter go.
I had gotten a nibble of her, but had forgotten how she tasted.
