Molly

"Get the hell away from me, dog.."

"Lords help us if you're going to bethis much of a bitch for the rest of my life," Henry scowled, "Justhold onto your panties because I think I remembered something."

I was taken by his wolf form and thenwhen he emerged from it, I was too stunned to speak. He was loomingover me, sizing me up I was sure.

"Why did you come for me?"

"Tormenting you is fun," he said, admitting to his wickedness so easily, "I remember fishing."

"Fishing?"

"Yes, fishing..When we went...whenyour father took us.."

I smiled, "You...remember?!"

"Yes," he said, "I don't knowhow, but I do. It simply came to me."

"This is great news! Tell me more! There must be some other things you have to recall!"

"That's all I have, Molly...I don'tknow anything else," he sounded pained as if losing his thoughtswere somehow a violation of his spirit.

I couldn't imagine not remembering him.

"It's a start."

"A start to what?"

"I don't know, but if we're going tomake this work then you need to know me."

Henry

She was right and I hated to admit it.

I don't know how long we stayed in thecave before I told her it was time to go.

"Now, that I know my memories arehidden there somewhere,-"

"Shhh.." Molly put a gently fingerto my lips, "Listen..."

I listened. I could hear the Drifters, but it wasn't like them to come this close to the caves.

"That's a different sound."

"They're burying the dead.."

"From yesterday?"

"They shouldn't have fucked around.."

Molly's compassion was overwhelming, but I didn't give a shit about the Drifters. They'd caused too muchstrife.

"Wait..that's not a Drifter chant.."

We listened closely and sure enough weknew the satyr's curses when we heard them.

"This is strange," I thought tomyself, "There isn't a satyr for miles.."

"Well, unless there voices areechoing,-"

"No..." I shook my head, "Theyknow we're here."

Molly

Being the big, bad alpha he was, Henrydecided to go and investigate.

He told me to stay put as if he were myfather and I was a petulant child.

However, I did as I was told and notbecause he told me to, but because I was going to search the cave alittle more.

Taking a torch, I led myself down alittle narrow corridor before coming to a strange open space withcarvings and trinkets, amulets and old books.

It was a witch's cave at some point, but the books were dusty and everything looked to be before my time.

I shuddered at the thought of thewitches still being close so I turned quickly and gasped at the sightof the large words dripping in what I was thought was red paint downthe walls of the cave. The words stunned me and I knew not what theymeant..
