mariana arrived at hollywood arts that morning with anger in her chest.

she went over to jade's locker and waited for the raven-haired girl to arrive.

about two minutes later, jade walked up to her locker.

"well isn't this a nice surprise." she said with a smug look on her face.

"that's some nice work you did on my car. i knew i shouldn't have put vandalism past you." mariana said.

"what you call vandalism i call art." jade replied.

"well it was ugly art. but i swear, the next time you try to put your 'artwork' on my car or anywhere else, i will make artwork on your face." mariana seethed, getting in jade's face.

but she got a strange feeling, being so close to the girl. it was as if she was...attracted to jade. she didn't like that.

jade was feeling the same way, though.

mariana's plump, pink lips were so close to hers. she could feel herself wanting to get a taste, just one taste, of her lips. she wanted to know how they would feel against hers. but it was wrong. she knew that it was so embarrassingly wrong.

"i'd like to see you try."

"don't test me."

"and why shouldn't i?"

mariana clenched her jaw and jade smirked.

"nothing to say, huh?"

mariana shook her head and walked away.

"bye, mari!" jade waved.

"eat shit!" mariana called back.

"as long as it's not yours!" jade shouted to her before laughing.

mariana grunted and went to her locker. she grabbed a notebook before slamming it closed and storming her way to class.

"good morning, students!" sikowitz exclaimed as her burst through the door of the classroom.

"here we go." mariana muttered to tori.

tori just sighed.

mariana liked tori. you could even say she wanted to be tori's friend.

"i have big news for you all!" sikowitz continued. "i am doing a play! and some of you guys are going to be in it." sikowitz shared.

"do i get to star in it?" jade cocked an eyebrow.

"and if so, does she get to vandalize a car?" mariana retorted.

"OH." jade grumbled.

"so, the play is going to be about two mothers struggling to take care of their young daughter. guess what, jade? you do get to star in the play! as one of the mothers. mariana, you're the other mother and cat—."

"WHAT!" mariana and jade screamed at the same time.

"i'm sorry, did i say something wrong?" sikowitz questioned.

"no, it's just that i'd never ever want to be her wife." mariana pointed.

"yeah, i'd rather fall down a flight of stairs." jade added.

"you need someone to push you?" mariana raised her eyebrows.

jade squinted at her.

"sikowitz, why are you having two girls be together? wouldn't it make sense if jade and beck were the married couple?" tori asked.

"well, young tori vega, because we need to be inclusive to all. and mariana and jade are perfect for this. now, mariana and jade, i have a special assignment for the two of you. i need you both to meet me at nozu tonight at seven pm."

"but—."

"7 pm."

"sikowitz—."

"7 PM!"

mariana sighed and jade grumbled.

sikowitz continued class, but all the girls could think about was what would happen that night at 7 pm.
