Baby fever

It's been a while since it happened. Since the moment Sirius is gonna try to forget for the rest of his life moment. Astrid is now two months. Sammy and Leo have been told about it but Sammy doesn't really seem to understand.

"Good morning Sammy" Regulus say stroking Sammy's back. He rolls over to se him.

"It's time to get up now. Your gonna just be at daycare half a day then I'll come get you"

"I wanna see uncle Sirius today." Sammy says sitting up.

"Well they have things to do but we could talk about seeing him and moony this week" Regulus says. Astrid screams from downstairs. Them can hear James hushing her. Leo walks up to the open door.

"Why does she scream so much" he asks rubbing his eyes.

"Well she's just a baby you guys also screamed when you were babies" Regulus sits down on Sammy's bed. Leo walks over to him sitting down in his lap arms around his neck.

"Why didn't Sirius and Moony have a baby" he sounds sad. Regulus was also sad at the news. He somehow feels guilty just having a baby when they couldn't right now. He feels so grateful for all his kids but like they deserved it more.

"Why did it die?" Leo says half crying into Regulus shoulder. Leo had taken the news about the baby hard. Sammy didn't really understand what happened just that there's not a baby in Sirius stomach.

"I don't know. You know what why don't I ring uncle Sirius so you guys could just talk to him" Leo looks Regulus in the eyes.

"You promise"

"I promise you"

(At Sirius and Remus house)

Sirius is laying in bed. Remus left the house about two hours ago for work. They had planned meeting for lunch but Sirius couldn't make it work. He is after in everything. He has like a million articles he needs to write but he just couldn't. The phone rings in the dark, cold and quiet room.

"Hello there uncle Sirius" He hears Leo's voice. He stays quiet. They hadn't talked since it happened. That's four whole weeks now. He used to pick the boys up at least ones a week before.

"Are you there?" Leo says. Sirius is now sitting up in the bed. He can feel tears running down his face. He doesn't even know why he's crying.

"Hey are you there?" It's Regulus now speaking.

"I'm sorry" he lets out. Regulus freezes hearing Sirius upset. He's always been kinda quiet about feelings.

"No no don't worry about anything alright we were just checking in on you"

"I'm sorry I haven't answered your calls before I just could get myself to do it"

"Hey it's alright you know the kids just miss you guys"

"Mhm"

"Could you talk to Leo he's been having a hard time lately" Sirius thinks for a bit

"Wait why?" Regulus now goes quiet

"With the hole no baby thing?"

"Yea. He's also upset because he misses you"

"Maybe we could meet up sometime"

"That sounds nice"

(It's currently Saturday morning at the potters)

James rolls over to se Regulus just laying looking at the ceiling. He doesn't say anything but wraps his arms around him. Regulus kisses his forehead.

"I love you so much" James says squeezing him hard.

"I love you so much too" Regulus say's continuing to kiss him. James kisses back on the mouth passionately. He sort of get over Regulus.

"Your alright with this?" James asks as Regulus smiles. He nods kissing him again. James starts slowly taking of his pants.

"Dada is it the morning now?" Leo is standing at the door. James get of Regulus. When Leo turns on the light they were apart.

"Yeah it's the morning buddy"

(At wolf stars house)

"Sirius" Remus and Sirius are currently cuddling in the bed. Remus is stroking Sirius half long black curly hair.

"Mhm" he responds. He sounds tired.

"Do you want to try again? Like not now if you want to wait or if you don't want to try at all that's fine too"

"Remus. I would love to try again" These words seem to calm Remus wonders down.

"Alright" he moves closer kissing him. Sirius puts his head on Remus chest. He can hear his heart beating.

(At the potters)

Sirius is standing at the porch waiting on Remus who had to make a phone call. Jane append the door. There eyes meet.

"Hey" James says. Sirius smiles bright. He had missed James a lot.

"Hello" James hugs him. Sirius hugs back. They just hug for a while.

"I'm so sorry that had to happen"

"It wasn't your fault" Remus walks up to the house. James and Sirius let go of each other. They walk in and are meted with Regulus holding Astrid. He looks at Astrid who is just sleeping there peacefully. He wanted that. Just a little baby.

"You wanna hold her?" Regulus asks after they take there coats of. Sirius looks at him. Astrid is now awake looking a bit around the room.

"Yeah sure..." Regulus hands her over to Sirius. Remus picks his phone up taking a picture of Sirius. He finds himself smiling. Sirius with that little baby just brings him joy. His husband Sirius Lupin with a baby.

"Get her of me" Sirius says out of nowhere. He looks uncomfortable and Astrid starts crying after he says that.

"No just calm down she doesn't bite" James says jokingly.

"Get her of!" Sirius is teary eyed almost screaming. Regulus is in the rescue and gets Astrid. Sirius is crying. He walks out of the room into the bathroom. James looks at Regulus. Remus walks over to the close door.

"Can you let me in?" He says calmly almost whispering. Sirius has his hand to his chest. He feels like there's something stopping him from breathing. He try's to take a deep breath but doesn't succeed. He feels tears running down his cheeks. It feels like he's going to die right there. He doesn't hear Remus talking to him. It's like something's wrong with him.

"I can't be here anymore" he opens the door from the floor and Remus comes in. Remus can't get Sirius eye contact and that seems weird to him.

"Are you alright?"

"It feels like I'm dying" Remus recognize that feeling. He remembers the last year of school and he had a huge anxiety attack in the middle of a test. Sirius had been there for him.

"Breath slower, don't hyperventilate" Remus sits down next to him locking the door behind them. After a while of just sitting there breathing Sirius leans his head on Remus shoulder.

"I don't know if I'm ready to try again just yet" Remus understood and nodes. Remus leans his head against Sirius head. He takes his hand and squeezes it.

Im sorry if im breaking it kinda in the middle but there's going to be a part two since there wasn't so much "baby fever" this episode.
