James woke up with Astrid on his chest. He was sitting on the chair in Astrid room. She has had trouble sleeping lately. He put his other hand on her back.

"Dada" Sammy says entering the room. James open his eyes to look at him.

"Hi, what are you doing up so late?" Sammy walks over to James and Astrid. He climbs up and sits down in James lap.

"I can't sleep" He leans his head against James. He puts a hand on his head stroking his hair. Astrid was suddenly fully awake but not screaming.

"What do you think we should do about that?" Sammy stairs at James. He looks like he's thinking but then let's out an.

"I don't know" James stands up an try to place Astrid in her crib but she screams out. Sammy walks up to her crib looking at her.

"What do you think we should do about Astrid?" James pulls her closer to him and looks down at Sammy.

"She just wants cuddles and that's not hard" James understood that but three on a Monday morning he didn't really feel like it.

"Well I cant cuddled all the time" James explaines. Sammy looks at him.

"I can cuddle her" he reaches for her. James goes down on his knees to put his kids at about the same level.

"Well then you wouldn't be able to sleep"

"I wanna stay up forever never sleep"

"Sam you need some sleep how about Astrid and I go and put you down" James stands back up. They walk to Sammy's room. Sammy lays down and James sits down at his feet's.

"You just have to sleep three hours before we can wake up" Sammy looks troubled.

"I want papa to come put me to bed"

"Well he's gonna go back to work tomorrow so he needs some sleep" James strokes his sons black curly hair. It was weird to se his best friend in his kid.

"I want him" Sammy sits up and burrows his face in his hands. James moves closer to Sammy and pulls a arm around him. Sammy cry's out. Regulus suddenly appears in the doorway. Sammy doesn't se him at first and James signals for him to leave but Regulus does not do that. He walks up pulling Sammy up and cuddling him. Sammy wraps his arms around his neck.

"I could have taken care of it" James says calming Astrid down because she's fuzzy.

"Now you don't need to do that" Regulus sits down on Sammy's bed still holding onto him. He lets go placing him in his bed. Sammy is asleep fast and they all walk out of the room.

"Regulus I could have taken care of it"

"Can't I just put my son to sleep?"

"Of course you can but I had it taken care of" Regulus argues back. Astrid screams.

"I'll take her" James holds back when Regulus reaches for her.

"No I can do this she is my daughter to" Regulus looks mad.

"James stop acting like a literal child" James looks at Regulus with wide eyes. He walks of with Astrid in his arms.

(At wolfstars house)

Remus had just gotten back. He just collapsed onto the couch. Sirius came out of there room and sat down on the floor next to Remus.

"Was it a bad one?" Remus just nods bit even opening his eyes.

"Poor thing" Sirius says stroking his hair slowly. Sirius was wearing his hair up in a way that made Remus crazy. It was like a messy bun but he let some strings hang around his face. Remus opens his eyes. Sirius catches his eye. He was wearing one of his jumpers. The one with green and black that was basically destroyed on the side.
