Day 5

The next day Jooyeon had said he felt better and seemed like it too, which made the others believe that the fever was kinda like a 24hr bug or something like that.

They started to notice zombies coming closer to the high school so the six chose to start a watch thing. Basically, two members would be on watch and protect their hideout from any intruders while the rest stayed inside. This didn't last for full days, only when one or more of the members saw something(s) getting a little too close.

Gunil and Jungsu were planned to be on watch for that day and as Jiseok was third-oldest but more immature to say the least, Seungmin was put in charge of the others. Not only was he the teams' medic, he was a bit more mature than Jiseok.

"Good luck, hyungs" Seungmin waved at the two before turning back.

"Okay, so- where's Jooyeon?" he interrupted his original line with.

"He was right beside me. And he's one of the loudest ones out of us so that's kinda weird he just disappeared" Jiseok replied, "I'll go look for him" he followed up with.

"Be quick" Hyeongjun shouted after him.

Jiseok gave Hyeongjun a thumbs up without looking back and continued looking for wherever Jiseok had gone to. After a full five minutes of searching, his dumb brain remembered that their tent exists and went to check there.

Both to his surprise and not to his surprise, Jooyeon was casually in there reading a book.

"Why are you here? Why did you just suddenly leave?" Jiseok questioned him.

"I wanted to. I also felt like being in here for some peace and quiet for once" Jooyeon joked.

"Cool. How you feelin' from yesterday?" he placed his hand on Jooyeon's forehead.

"Pretty good. Just waiting for the symptoms to fully pass" Jooyeon smiled in return.

"That's nice, but let's go. You left before Seungmin could explain the rest of the day."

And they did. Jiseok came back 10 minutes later from when he originally left holding Jooyeon's hand to prove he was still alive.

Seungmin quickly explained what they'd be doing and since two of the members were busy with something else, Gunil told Seungmin to tell the others that the outing that was planned for that day would be postponed. Jooyeon slipped away without anyone knowing and went back to hiding somewhere.

Jooyeon grabbed his bass and went to see if the school's music room was still somewhat intact. As he got close and could see the music room from his view, he immediately got really dizzy.

"Oh god" he whimpered in pain as he got hit with a sharp pain in his head, "Ow!"

He screamed loud enough that Seungmin, Jiseok and Hyeongjun came running just in time to see Jooyeon crumple to the floor. Gunil and Jungsu abandoned their post to see what the scream was.

Jooyeon curled up into a small ball on the floor, arms covering the top of his head. He could barely make out the five others in front of him through his blurry vision.

"Jooyeon! What happened?" Gunil crouched down.

"I don't know. I was walking then got really dizzy" he explained, short of breath, "then something shot through my head."

"It might still be the fever. We'll get you back to the gym and make sure to be careful."

Hyeongjun and Jiseok helped the boy up and slowly walked back to the gym with him. They hadn't even made it into a different hallway when his vision went fully black and he fell to the tiled floor, the yells of his name seeming far away.
