Chapter One- A New Confusing Beginning

Hello this book 2 of The Wanted I'm glad to start it, if you found this book before book 1 you will need to read book 1 before this thank you.

                                         CHAPTER ONE A NEW CONFUSING BEGINNING

                                                        ANNABEL'S P.O.V.

"Annabel are you coming!" a voice yelled from downstairs scaring the day lights out of me I screamed and fell from the bed. I groaned when I landed on my butt I was sleeping I slowly got up and looked around Eric was no where to be found. I looked at the clock it was nine o'clock in the morning "Annabel!" the same voice yelled again. I realized it was Eric "Yeah I'm coming!" I answered running to the shower "Hurry up!" Nicholas yelled. I shook my head as I stepped into the shower once I got out I thought of something. Where were we going anyway?

There was a knock on the bathroom door "Annabel will you hurry up?" Eric said I sighed "Yes I'm coming" I said opening the door. I went straight to the closet and pulled out jeans and a t-shirt once I was dressed Eric took my hand and dragged me down the stairs. "Where are we-" I started to ask as we walked out the door but I was interrupted when a water balloon hit my back. I screamed the water was cold I turned to see Nicholas on the ground holding his sides laughing his ass off.

I glared at him "That's not funny that water was cold" I muttered crossing my arms Nicholas stopped and looked at me. Then he got up arched his back and let out a high pitch scream mocking me I gasped and glared daggers at him. "I don't sound like that!" I exploded he winced a bit and held up his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay" he chuckled I then heard Eric laugh behind me "Shut up" I demanded. "Okay don't kill me" he said I glared at him "I'll try my best, now what was the point of this" I questioned gesturing around us.

They both shrugged "We didn't want you to sleep in late" Nicholas answered, WHAT!? I'm not allowed to sleep in late? "That makes no sense!" I yelled "Am I not allowed to sleep in?" I said. "Nope, no one is" Eric answered looking smug I turned on my heels and marched back in the house "That's stupid" I muttered I haven't been able to sleep in the pass three days. I was too afraid of having nightmares of Damien I know he's dead but he still haunts my dreams. I walked into the living room which was huge and had a flat screen TV, Eric and Nicholas decided to follow me.

I jumped on the couch taking all the space and forcing them to seat on the loveseat together, Dom walked by us with a few wolves following him. Our eyes locked for a moment before I could get lost in his eyes I forced myself to look away. "What was that about?" Eric asked "Nothing" I answered shaking my head I heard Nicholas chuckle. Since that night everything has been awkward around me and Dom and I never told Eric about it.

Ever since then sometimes I couldn't help but think about Dom the way he looks at me and his eyes - I shook my head furiously. Annabel bad girl stop it what is wrong with you, you have a mate who loves you. I sighed and closed my eyes to take a nap since Eric and Nicholas decided to wake me up to throw a cold water balloon at me. It's a good thing I chose to take a nap because I need to air dry to bad the couch will be a little wet. I needed to get back at them for that. How? I guess I'll figure that out later.

                                                             ERIC'S P.O.V

I followed Annabel into the living room she jumped on the couch taking up all the room and forcing me and Nicholas to sit on the loveseat. I guess she is still kind of mad about that water balloon it was hilarious. As I sat down I saw Dom walk pass us with a few wolves and Chris behind him I noticed Dom locked eyes with Annabel for a while. My wolf didn't like and I didn't like it either I don't know why I guess it was the way Dom looked at her. But why were they looking at each other that way it was like awkward and something else "What was that about?" I asked "Nothing" Annabel answered shaking her head. Nicholas chuckled beside me I looked at him confused he shook his head and looked off in a different direction.

Annabel seemed in deep thought she shook her head furiously before closing her eyes and sighed I guess she decided to take a nap. I got up and walked outside and found Dom out I almost forgot that he was changing the patrol duties. Once he saw us walking up he pointed to me "Eric can you take patrol tonight?" he asked I nodded. "Nicholas you take patrol with Chris today" he ordered Nicholas nodded and left.

Then I heard a scream from the house it was high pitch I quickly realized it was Annabel I raced towards the house. I came in and quickly looked around and I found Annabel on the floor laughing her ass off. I stood there confused wasn't she just screaming a second ago once she saw me she laughed harder. "You should've seen the look on your face!" she gasped I growled "That wasn't funny you actually scared me" I said crossing my arms.

She gasped and sat up "That's what you get, now I need to get back at Nicholas" she murmured I smirked. "I can always warn him" I said walking over and sitting beside her she looked at me "You wouldn't" she started. I smirked 'Hey Nicholas' I called 'Yeah' he answered Annabel's eyes widened as she caught on to what I was doing. 'I have something to tell you' I started but I couldn't finished it was ... quiet.

I looked to see Annabel looking smug my eyes widened in shock "Did you just block me from Nicholas?" I asked. She nodded looking proud "I sure did" she smiled "How?" I asked she shrugged "I don't know I just... did it" she seemed like she confused herself. I got up and walked towards the door "What are you doing?" she demanded following me. "I can go warn him now" I shrugged and she glared at me. "Eric don't" she warned I smirked and bolted out the door she quickly followed I chuckled to myself she's unbelievable.

Once I out ran her she stopped and leaned against a tree "Stupid ass werewolves" she muttered I turned around and looked at her. "What did you say?" I challenged she looked up at me for a second "What?" she asked innocently. I smirked "That's not going to work" I said as I walked towards her, she immediately started to back away. She then stopped and tilted her head "What's not going to work?" she asked sweetly I noticed her bottom lip quivered a little. I looked away that wasn't far that she used the puppy dog face but when I looked back she was gone I sighed, like I said unbelievable.

But Annabel isn't a fast runner she wasn't that far away I took off after her I caught up with her pretty quick. She noticed me and ran faster before she could dodge me I grabbed her by the waist she squealed and tried to pry herself free from my arms. I chuckled I then heard feet running up to us I caught the scent and knew who it was. "I heard squealing" Nicholas said coming up to us "I was just about to-" I was interrupted by Annabel. "Hey Nicholas, can you help me" she said gesturing to my arm.

He chuckled "I would but I love my face" he shrugged "Stupid wolves" she sighed as she gave up I laughed. I let her go and she stumbled and glared at me "What?" I asked innocently she rolled her eyes and walked off to the house. I shook my head as I walked after her as "She's going to get you back" I said as I passed Nicholas. "I know" he said he chuckled then left I broke through the bushes and found Dom and Annabel looking at each other again. I really didn't understand that I knew Annabel wouldn't tell me anything so I decided to do the most stupidest thing.

I went through Dom's mind. And what I found made me pissed off I snarled and wrapped my arm around Annabel possessively. "MINE!" I snarled in Dom's face baring my teeth.
