Chapter Thirteen- Giving You a Chance

                               CHAPTER THIRTEEN GIVING YOU A CHANCE

                                      ANNABEL'S P.O.V

"What?" I asked confused making sure I heard him right "More wolves are missing?" I asked he nodded his head "Yeah' he sighed. "Sorry" I said when I couldn't think of anything else to say "When did they disappeared?" I asked. "Not too long ago in the woods" he answered he then looked me over "Where were you exactly?" he asked. I sighed "Half way through the woods, I'm okay Dom" I reassured him as he looed me over again.

Eric came from the dining room and immediately looked at me "I'm not hurt" I  reassured them both once they settled I started to relaxed. "I'm going to change" I said as I headed up the stairs to my room once I stepped in my phone rang. "Hello" I answered "Hey Annabel" Cindy said I paused at my closet as a thought came to me "Hey do you know anything about the missing wolves?, there's more missing now" I asked.

There was a pause "No, I didn't know there were wolves missing" she answered I raised an eyebrow. "Okay, could you come over?" I asked I wasn't going to give up I am going to get the real answer and figure out what got them anxious all of a sudden. "Sorry can't we have something to take care of, next time I promise" she said "Okay, I got to go" I sighed as I pulled out some clothes.

"Ok bye Annabel" she said I told her bye before I hung up and went off to take a shower once I was done I pulled on my clothes. I decided to let my hair fall down my back and walked down stairs I noticed Nicholas walking out the door. "Where are you going?" I asked "I'm going to check out where the wolves went missing" he answered over his shoulder. "Be careful" I said concerned as I went over to the living room.

Nicholas chuckled "You know I will" he said as he walked out the door closing it behind him, I sat down on the couch between Dom and Eric. They both slightly relaxed as once I sat between them I noticed a map on the coffee table. I looked between Eric and Dom who were staring down at the map they were silent, I guess they were having a mental conversation. "Guys we'll find them, they'll be okay" I reassured them as well as myself.

                                                    CINDY'S P.O.V

Once I said bye to Annabel she hung up, I turned around and waited for Mike to walk in "What do you want Mr. Nosey?" I asked as soon as he came up the hallway. "I'm not nosey I want just..." he trailed off when he couldn't think. "Just listening in on our conversation" I finished for him with a smirk "Yeah, yeah are you ready or not?" he huffed clearly annoyed. I chuckled "Yes let's go" I said as I lead the way down the wall. James came around the corner waiting for us I gave him a small smile "You didn't tell her anything did you?" he asked I sighed.

"No James, I won't tell her yet" I said putting emphasis on 'yet' because we have to tell her sooner or later she knows I was lying. "Okay" James sighed in defeat before he could protest knowing I would win anyway, Mike sighed behind me. "You are one cruel lady" he said as he walked pass me "Hey, she deserves to know" I defended fighting the urge to smile. "Not all at once" Mike said back "We don't have a choice" James said with a slight shrug.

"We might as well get this over with" I sighed as I took off into the woods with Mike and James following closely behind. We stopped not to far from the house and looked around but found nothing, "We'll split up and meet back here in two hours" James said me and Mike nodded in agreement. James took off in the opposite direction, Mike took off in the direction we were going, and I took off towards town and near the pack house.

I stopped in town and walked around I found a crowd of people and quickly scanned through them, I walked along the sidewalk looking through a few stores. After a few minutes of searching the town I turned around and ran into the woods towards the direction of the pack house. While I was running my phone started to ring "Hello" I answered "Cindy, have you found anything?" James asked "No, I'm on my way to Annabel's town" I answered.
