Chapter Seven- Finding Small Clues

                                   CHAPTER SEVEN  FINDING SMALL CLUES

                                        ANNABEL'S P.O.V

I woke up and stumbled sleepily out the bed and into the hallway, I was just about to walk down the stairs when I bumped into Nicholas. I was about to fall right on my ass when he quickly grabbed my wrist and helped keep me steady. I sighed once I got my balanced "Geez Nicholas" I said looking up at him "Sorry I was just about to look for you" he answered. I shrugged "Okay what do you want?" I asked "I found out something that should help you with your mates" he smirked at the last part. I rolled my eyes trying not to smile as well "Yeah, what is it?" I asked getting curious.

He turned and lead the way downstairs I looked around and noticed it was really quiet where was everybody? I decided to voice my thought "Where is everyone?" I was confused "Eric is with a few others are looking for the missing wolves and Dom is over at the place where the others were murdered" he answered. I sighed I feel bad for them all the wolves were like brothers and I know Dom is more bother about this. He has been distracted about the attack and the missing wolves all day yesterday I wouldn't blame him I would be worried but it's just making me worry for him.

I followed Nicholas into the medic room I don't know why but I didn't ask he motioned for me to sit down once I did he sighed as he took a seat as well. He looked off in the distance at first like he was figuring how to say something. This just made me more impatient "Nicholas just tell me" I said his head jerked up to look at me "Okay then" he started.

But he didn't finish I glared at him as I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back into my chair waiting. "Okay, I don't know how to say this" he sighed "Just say it" I pushed getting eager I tilted my head to one side slightly looking at him trying to figure what he's trying to say. "Well, just be careful because both your mates will try to claim you before the other" he finally said. I felt confused I didn't really understand him, "What?" I asked more shyly really. "They both love you and want you as theirs but they want you to themselves so eventually they will try to claim you before the other. Unless you pick which mate you want to be with.." he trailed off.

What?! Did I hear him correctly?! "So, If I don't choose one any time soon they'll try to claim me?" I said unsure and in disbelief. "Yeah it'll possibly be like teens on a hormonal rage but two times worse" he explained I chuckled because I didn't know what else do. "Wow" was my only smart response I shook my head "Anything else?" I asked though I sounded a little hopeful that he didn't.

"Well.." he trailed off unsure to say it or not I sighed "What is it?" I asked looking at him, he was shifting in his seat. "They... They will get more aggressive with each other so, you might need to make sure to be in the same room to keep them calm" he said I shook my head. "That makes no sense to be in the same room, won't they try to claim me" I said referring to what he said earlier, he chuckled "Yeah, but your presence will also calm them" he explained.  

I chuckled as I got up from my chair "Okay, thanks you the...weird heads up" I said "No problem" he answered as I walked out. I started to make my way to the kitchen since I was kind of hungry the news Nicholas gave me was strange but useful. I sighed as I now stood in front of the fridge this having two mates things is really interesting. I decided to get a granola bar instead as I went to a cabinet I heard the door open. I found the granola bar and walked towards the door I looked to see Dom and some others. Dom's face seemed sad and stressed but once his eyes landed on me his face almost brightened completely.

"Hey" I greeted while he walked towards me "Hey" greeted back with a sly smirk I couldn't help but smile back. Just as I was about to take a bit of my granola bar he takes it out my hand I looked at him in shock as he smiled at me holding the granola bar over my head. "I was going to eat that" I said reaching up to get it back but since he is taller than me i had to jump he quickly moved it out my reach. I huffed and glared at him "Can you give it back?" I asked he pretended to think about it "Nope" he anwered while eating the granola bar in one bite.
