Chapter Eight- Tell Us What You Know

                             CHAPTER EIGHT TELL US WHAT YOU KNOW

                                                   ANNABEL'S P.O.V

I am now in a room alone that is next to the room Dom and Eric is questioning the vampire some other wolves are in there as well and a few were with me. I looked down at my hands that were in my lap I could faintly hear what they were saying. I know what you might be thinking why am I in a room by myself? but that vampire tried to kill me! I stiffened in my chair as I remembered what happened. 

*Flash Back*

"I found him where the wolves disappeared" Eric answered like it was nothing just then the vampire stood up his eyes still on me. Both Dom and Eric growled "Couldn't have put him somewhere else" Dom questioned stepping in front of me blocking me from the vampire's view. "I didn't notice she was with you until  caught her scent when I walked in" Eric retorted back I peeked over Dom's shoulder to look at the vampire. He seemed like he was trying to burn a hole through Dom's shoulder just to see me, weird.

Then I noticed his eyes they were very dark from not feeding my eyes widened in shock and realization I gasped. All three pairs of eyes looked at me "I shouldn't be in here" I whispered shyly looking at Dom then Eric. "He hasn't fed, he's craving blood" I whispered looking at the vampire he gave me a small smirk. Snarls broke through Eric and Dom's chest "Just let me have you I promise you won't feel a thing" the vampire finally spoke.

I cringed I then found myself in Eric's arms just as the vampire launched for me, how did I get across the room so fast? Eric then pushed me behind him I looked in front of him to see Dom and the vampire wrestling. "Stay here" Eric said as he joined I moved behind the kitchen door once Eric joined in they were able to pin the vampire.

Both got one arm pulled him out the kitchen just as the vampire was passing me he pushed himself towards me in attempt of biting me. I screamed and fell on my ass dodging him as well I let out a relieved sigh. The vampire snarled and narrowed his eyes at me while Eric and Dom dragged him up the stairs. I stayed on the floor for a moment or two to stop myself from shaking and to calm down I then stood up took a deep breath and followed them up the steps.

*End of flash back* 

I let out a breath and noticed I was holding the arms of the chair in a death grip I quickly released it and listened in the conversation in the next room. "Tell us what you know " Dom demanded for the tenth time the vampire hasn't spoken for hours. I started to get curious of what he was thinking "Maybe I don't know anything" he finally spoken in a bored voice. "Well he's useless let's just kill him" Eric said.

Before I knew what I was doing I was out my chair and out the room in one second and in the next room the next. "Don't kill him! He's lying" I said everyone looked at me like I was crazy I shrugged it off and looked at Dom and Eric to tell them how serious I am. I knew he was lying there was this gut feeling that was yelling at me that he was lying. I felt eyes on me I then followed the sense though I regretted it I found the vampire staring at me with narrowed eyes my eyes immediately narrowed as well.

I noticed Dom moved in front of me I looked over his shoulder at the vampire one more time before speaking. "Let me help" I whispered Dom looked down at me like I was crazy "No" both him and Eric said in unison. I sighed they could be stubborn all they want but I'm stilling going to try to help "Let me help" I said more demanding this time. The vampire turned his attention on me now he seemed amused.

"Why not let the human help out?" the vampire smirked Dom opened his mouth to say something but I bet him to it. "I can do a much better job than them" I retorted back I felt both Dom and Eric's eyes on me once I said that but I chose to ignore them. The vampire looked at me in shock at first then he started chuckling "Very funny" he muttered between chuckles. I wanted to smack that stupid smirk off his face I didn't notice what I was doing until he stopped laughing and narrowed his eyes and Dom grabbed my wrist.

I then noticed that I was stalking towards him I pulled my hand free from Dom then I continued walking towards the vampire. Eric was about to stop me but I stopped him with a glare I sat down in a chair close the vampire but not too close. I looked him in eye "You know something" I stated while crossing my arms and leaning into the chair "No I-" I cut the vampire off "Don't lie" I demanded. The vampire then stayed quiet "Annabel I don't think you should be doing this" Eric said sounding skeptical I gave him a reassuring look.

I then looked back at the vampire who was looking at me so intently I tilted my head to the side "Judging how you keep staring at me, you know me" I said the vampire shook his head. "I don't know you but I know of you" he answered I looked him in the eye once I saw his pupils dilate I felt control. "Tell us what you know about the missing wolves" I asked again this time he didn't hesitate "All I know is the he wanted us to bring as many as we could and kill the rest" he mumbled.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion "Who's he?" Dom asked before I could the vampire glared at him before he answered to me "He told us not to tell" he said. "What else do you know?" Eric asked the vampire stayed quiet before answering. The vampire kept telling us about this 'He' but never told us who it was but only that he is to be feared and respected. His group was killed for failing to keep the killing hidden but he was left alive to be killed by us and to leave us a message.

The vampire then said "That you guys should run because he will come and claim all that is his" he smirked I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Before I could ask him what he meant he snapped his own neck I jump back and gasp in shock. Dom caught me before I could fall on my butt "Thanks" I breathed as I stood up. I looked back to see the disabled vampire still on the floor a shiver ran down my spine as I quickly looked away.

"You should go so we can clean up" Dom suggested sensing that I'm uncomfortable I gave him a small smile as I excused myself. Once I was out the room I let out a relieved breath I then headed down the stairs just as I got to the bottom my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID it was Mike when I answered he cut off my greeting "Are you okay you sounded distracted earlier?" he asked. "I'm fine Mike" I quickly reassure once he let out a breath he continued "Um when can you leave?" he asked.

I looked up at the stairs then at the clock across the living room I am now standing in "Um now will be fine" I answered. I heard a different distant voice on the other end it sounded like a female Mike chuckled I smiled. "Let me guess, Cindy?" I said smiling "Yeah she said she will be there in a few" he told me I thought about it for a moment. I haven't seen my friends for a long time, about six or seven months actually. 

"Hey will it be okay if I can stay there for two days?" I asked unsure "Of course.. is something wrong?" Mike hesitated asking. I shook my head but quickly answer once I realized he couldn't see me "Everything is fine it's just that I would love to caught and spend time with you guys" I reassured. Mike told me that Cindy will be here soon I thanked him again before I hung up headed upstairs to my room. I then packed enough clothes for two days and walked back downstairs.

Once I was at the bottom step I heard someone call my name "Annabel" I looked to see Eric on the couch. I walked over to him "What's with the bag?" he asked "I'm staying with Cindy for two days and look for my parents" I answered I then noticed Dom and Nicholas. Dom was on the opposite couch from Eric and Nicholas was beside Eric. Both of them looked at me intently before Eric spoke "Please be careful" he said his voice full of worry I nodded my eyes landed on Dom and his eye had worry as well.

I sighed "I'll be careful guys, I can take care of myself" I mumbled about to walk away I looked at Nicholas who had a amused look on his face I rolled my eyes and walked to the door. "Bye Annabel" all three called in unison I laughed as I walked out the door "Bye" I called back.
