Chapter Six-Missing wolves and Ambushes

Sorry for the short chapter it's just a filler and I'm running low on ideas but enjoy!                    

                          CHAPTER SIX MISSING WOLVES AND AMBUSHES

                                         ANNABEL'S P.O.V

Cindy and I just pulled up to the pack house we have been gone hours and it was about time for me to get back. Cindy, James, and Mike all want to help me find my parent so they're going to search all the addresses that Cindy found. I tried to tell her that she didn't have to do this but it seemed like she made this her personal mission so I gave up. I walked into the house and gave Cindy a hug I invited her in but she denied kindly by the way her nose wrinkled as she stepped towards the door I understood why.

I looked pass the living room as I walked in it was empty, so I walked into the kitchen and found a bothered looking Eric. I quickly got to his side and touched his arm as I spoke "Eric what's wrong?" he didn't answer at first he seemed in deep thought. "Eric?" I asked again he shook his head then sighed "Some wolves are missing including Chris" he answered quietly.

I looked at him in shock no wonder why he is bothered Chris is his cousin and he was obviously worried about the others. "How?" I asked thought I immediately regretted asking because his face looked pained, irritated, and confused. "I don't know, no one does" he said "That's not all, some others were ambushed not too far from where Chris and the others went missing, they all were killed" he sighed.

"I'm sorry" I whispered taking his hand in mine then he pulled me into his arms and I heard him let out a breath and took in my scent. "Be careful" he whispered into my ear "You too" I said then I was out his arms to soon for my opinion. I saw him look at the doorway I turned my head to see Dom my heart started to pick up the pace and I became more aware, this always happen when they both were in the same room as me.

I studied Dom before I spoke he seemed just as bothered as Eric and he seemed stressed he looked at Eric then at me questioningly. I guess he wondered if I knew I shook my head he sighed "I'm sorry" I whispered looking down at the floor. I wonder who is behind this I wanted to help to find out who. I shook the thought off maybe I could help later on, Cindy will pick me up tomorrow I sighed she is so determined I wonder why.

I noticed the both were tense and near me I shook my head as they kept shooting glares at each other. I walked over to the counter and pushed myself on top then I let my feet dangle on the edge while I started to think of how I could change the subject.  When I looked up I found Eric and Dom glaring at each other I could slightly hear low growls from them. "Will you guys stop that" I nearly groaned in frustration.  

They both looked at me and slowly calmed down but I noticed that they were stilling growling I sighed and hopped down. "Okay, I'll let you guys clam down and solve whatever is going on between you two" I said walking away. I didn't want to be in the same room as them if were always going to be so tense towards each other.

                                                     DOM'S P.O.V

I watched as our small annoyed mate walk away from us I let out a low growl I thought we had an agreement a silent one at least. We will each give each other an equal chance of getting Annabel I glared at Eric as he done the same. "I thought we would give each other a chance" I said irritated "We did but you interrupted my chance so I stopped you" Eric growled. I instinctively growled back "We stay to what we agreed on" I said in deadly low voice.

I don't why we act like this all of sudden but I don't care anymore I'm worried about Eric might take my Annabel away me. "Agreed" Eric growled I walked over the counter to create distance between us so we could calm down. I could her Annabel walking up the stairs mumbling something our behavior and something about Cindy and Nicholas. I smirked to myself Annabel was always an interesting person, after the long silence Eric finally spoke.

"What are we going to do?" his voice was calmer than before and changing the subject I took in a deep breath. "Keep a lookout around the border of our land, and warn the packs closer by" I answered. He nodded in agreement we needed to know who is behind this ambush and the missing wolves, I hope they're alright.

                                                       ANNABEL'S P.O.V

I mumbled about how both Dom and Eric have been acting as I walked up the stairs to my room, I found myself mumbling about Nicholas and Cindy as well, hoping they will be able to help me. I sighed dragging my hand through my hair as I walked up to my door. Did forget to mention that my room is still near Eric's and now even Dom's? Well I'm going to, so once I insisted getting my own room until this was sorted out they agreed.

But for only one condition.

My room had to be somewhere near both of theirs.

I denied at first because they were being overprotective and worried but they soon convinced me. I didn't like it at first because I thought they were just treating me like I was helpless. But soon after I got use to it and even comfortable. I walked into my room making sure I locked the door and decided to take a long hot shower. Once I stepped into the shower and felt the water run over my body I closed my eyes and let my mind go blank.

After the shower I put on a tank top and shorts I then brushed my hair into a ponytail and went over to my computer. I got Cindy to send me whatever she found in the old library I'm glad that she found that place. I spent hours on the computer finding other information about my parents but found nothing I gave up with a sigh and decided to go to bed and hope for answers later on.
