Chapter Twelve- Less Wolves

                                     CHAPTER TWELVE LESS WOLVES

                                              ANNABEL'S P.O.V.

Once I got through the door I was greeted by a set of arms I squealed as my feet were lifted a few inches off the ground. "Hey Annie" Dom said in my ear causing a shiver down my spine "Hey Dommy" I said back on purpose. He playfully growled back at me before he put me back down on my feet "So, what did you get?" he asked as he tried to look in the bags. But I quickly snatched them away "If I can't look in them yet then neither can you" I told him. He looked at me confused "Cindy told me not to look in the bags yet" I explained with a small frown.

I can't open these bags until I decide what to do I sighed as I headed up to my room to drop the bags off. "Did you guys find anything out about the missing wolves?" I asked when I didn't get an answer I turned my head to see Dom thinking hard. "Um, no not really" he sighed I could he was frustrated I frowned but quickly went up to my room. As I was walking out another pair of arms wrapped around my waist from the warm tingles I felt rush through me I knew it was Eric.

A smile spread on my lips "Hey Eric" I breathed "Hey Annabel" he said back his breath fanned over me. I could feel his lips hovering over my neck I bit my lip I sensed his hesitation before he let me go with a sigh. I turned around to face him "You haven't found anything out about Chris, have you?" I asked though I knew the answer. "No" he answered I frowned and gave him a hug "Hopefully we'll find them" I reassured as best as I could.

I lead the way down to the living room to be greeted by a beaming Nicholas "Hey Nick" I sighed as I fell on the couch. I quickly became wary once he sat beside me "Hey" he breathed as he leaned back instantly my body became aware and ready. Then out of no where Nicholas jumped towards me but I back flipped off the couch landing right on my ass. I groaned but quickly stood up "How'd you know I was going to do that?" Nicholas questioned confused.

I shrugged and slowly backed away as I watched him stepping closer to me I took off towards kitchen with a squeal as he followed me. I reached the kitchen and screamed as Nicholas grabbed me and started to tickle me. Dom and Eric froze at my sudden outburst "Stop! --- Stop haha please!" I cried between laughs I screamed again and tried to pry his hands away. Nicholas then burst into laughter and let me go I gasped and glared at him "What was that for?" I laughed "Just saying hi" he chuckled.

I shook my head as I continued into the kitchen "About time you stopped you scared us" Dom chuckled. I pointed at Nicholas who shrugged his shoulders innocently. I watched as Dom and Eric looked back around the counter I peeked around Eric's arm to see a map. I sighed feeling slightly guilty for the missing wolves. As I saw how stressed they got what Cindy said came back to me "Guys" I sighed both immediately looked at me.

"You guys need to stop stressing" I murmured as I moved my way between them to look at the map "Or you guys need some help" I breathed. "You don't have to help us" Dom reassured but I shook my head "I want to" I stated determine to help as best as I can. "Annabel.." Eric said but I cut him off. "Where was the last place you saw them?" I asked as I looked at the map "There, but they were ambushed here" Dom said pointing to two red x marks.

"The distance isn't that far" I muttered as I looked between the marks "Maybe they were tracking them" I pondered. Eric and Dom looked at the map "We already considered that but we couldn't find out how they found where we lived" Dom explained. I got a feeling that I know who but I also didn't know I started down at the map in thought. "Annabel you don't need to worry about this" Eric said I shook my head as I began thinking how the wolves were ambushed.

"Annabel" Dom said once he said that a memory came to me..

'Annabel' a voice cooed a shiver ran down my  spine once I heard the voice 'Annabel look at me' the voice cooed again the voice sounded closer now and I looked up.....

"Annabel, Annabel are you okay?" Dom asked slightly shaking my shoulder "Huh, um yeah I'm okay" I reassured. "You must be tired you need to go to sleep" Eric said looking at me concerned I nodded and walked up to my bedroom. I wonder who's voice was that, it couldn't be Damien's, the voice sounded different but too familiar as well. I fell onto my bed deep in thought about the missing wolves, they Cindy and rest were acting, and the memory. I tried to see how they all could related but I found nothing, I soon fell asleep.

I was awaken by the sound of my phone going off, I groaned as I reached for my phone "Hello" I answered sleep lacing my tone. "Annabel" a voice sighed in relief I sat up quick wiping the sleep from my eyes. "Mike is something wrong?" I asked concerned "Nothing I just..." Mike started to explained but there was shifting then a new voice "Hey Annabel sorry for waking you" Cindy greeted. I heard an 'Ouch' in the background "We just wanted to check on you, so did you make up your mind?" Cindy asked.

I could hear a smile in her voice I chuckled "Yeah, I think I did" I answered she squealed with excitement. Cindy spent the rest of the time talking about something that I couldn't completely understand, maybe because I wasn't paying much attention. "Okay Cindy, I need to go" I chuckled for the second time once she said bye I got up and started to get ready.  

I decided to go out for a run before the day really started I put on some sweats and pulled my hair in a ponytail. I went downstairs and noticed Nicholas in knocked out on the couch I chuckled as I walked by. "Annabel, is that you?" he asked sleepily "Yes, I'm going for a run" I called as I went out the door before he could reply.

I took off running through the woods I grinned when the wind picked up and started to blow in my face I started to slow down. I ended up halfway through the woods I leaned against a tree to rest and looked around the woods. If only my life could be this peaceful, then I wouldn't have to stress about things all the time. I started jog back to the pack house once I stepped into the door I was greeted by Eric and Dom.

"Where have you been?" Dom asked as he walked towards me "Out for a run" I panted Dom gave me a hug. I could sense how stressed he was, "What's wrong?" I asked he seemed even more stress when I asked. "More wolves are missing" he answered I stared at him in shock.
