Jace's POV

I was staring up at the stars. The wind brushed up against my face. I took a deep breath as the waves crashed up against each other. I felt at peace with the girl I love next to me. I was happy she was finally giving me a chance.

"I see why you like the beach." I looked over at her already looking at me. Her blonde hair laid messily on the sand and I just wanted to memorize every freckle on her face.

I sat up quickly sat up covering my face. She affected me like no girl ever could.

PLOP!

I felt a weight drop on my lap as I saw her there. I looked at her confused as she cupped my face.

"Jace."

"V."

She moved her face closer to mine and scooted her body more closer to me. I wrapped arms around her waist. She set my body on fire. My heart was pounding as we stared at each other.

"Can I?" She asked me as her eyes wandered around my lips. I gulped, this has always been my dream since I was young. I nodded slowly but surely knew this is what I wanted.

She smashed her lips against mine. She invited her tongue inside my mouth. Her hand found their way to my hair. Our tongues danced together as my body had sparks ignite.

"Sh*t!" I yelled as she pushed me down. My head hit the sand as she kissed me again. It was soft and passionate. She railed back to catch her breath. As we pant just string at each other I couldn't help but to long for more.

More of her.

"Aww sh*t I'm sorry Jace." She dropped her head. My head was caged between her arms as she was still on top of me. I lifted her chin so I could see her eyes.

"Don't ever apologize V." She looked at me softly but I could tell there was a million thoughts racing through her head.  She sat up but still on my lap and took a deep breath. I sat up to teacher level.

"I have an idea." I said as she look at me.

"This is amazing!!" She laughed as we laughed down on a blanket in the back of the trunk of my truck.  The beach breeze still brushed up against us.

"What if someone comes and try's to kidnap us?"

"I'll protect you V, I can promise you that." She looked at me with a soft smile. I couldn't help but to get lost in her eyes. All I wanted to do was to kiss her again. I felt an arm snake around my waist and her head lay in my chest.

"Your heart is racing." She giggled as she played there. She traced circles on my chest.

God I love Vicky.

Vicky's POV

I woke up to the waves crashing against each other. The sun was rising and I sat up to look at it. I looked over to see Jace still asleep. He looked so peaceful lying there. I checked my phone to see a bunch of texts. I hopped off the truck to call my mom.

"VICKY WHERE ARE YOU!! IVE BEEN CALING AND TEXTING. WE'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER TOWN FOR YOU!!" I felt guilty as my mom freaked out because we feel asleep.

"I'm sorry mom I fell asleep and forgot to text but I'm safe." She sighed and I could hear a wave of relief wash over her.

"Honey, Verse said you left with Jace are you with him." I hummed in reply looking over the truck to see him still sleeping.

"We're just glad you two are safe. Please get home so we know you are ok." I told her ok and she hanged up. I climbed back up on the trunk.

"Jace." I poked his cheek softly. He didn't wake up so I needed a different strategy. I got off the trunk and went to the driver side and got into the driver seat.

HONKKKK!

I saw him jolt up and look around. I laughed as I got out of the driver seat.

"F**k V!" He yelled as he got out of the trunk.

"Sorry Jace but our parents are freaking out." I laughed as I walked closer to him. I stopped till I was inches away from him.

"You're so cute." He chuckled and I couldn't help but to be entranced by his laugh. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Jace." I attracted his attention by calling out his name. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his face closer to mines.

F**k he drives me wild.
