Vicky's POV

It's been 3 years. 3 years since I lost my baby. 3 years since he left me at that hospital. I moved on with my life. It was hard moving on from the lost of my baby. Even though I never knew about it I felt attached to it.

"Hey babe." I looked behind me to see my boyfriend Teagan walk in. I smiled as i walked over to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist as I looked up into his eyes.

"How was your day?"

"Your dad was busting my balls babe, I swear he does not like me." I met Teagan at my dad's company. I was scared to go out with him since what happened with Jace but I'm glad I did. He is an amazing guy.

Who's always by my side.

"He's just protective of me babe." I said planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Anyway how was your day." I smiled, I loved what I did for work. I was a teacher for 2nd graders and I loved teaching them.

"The kids were a lil rowdy but other than that they were good." He smiled and planted a kiss on my lips. I smiled as I felt content.

"Get ready we have to meet my parents at their house." I said throwing a towel at him as I walked away.

Jace's POV

I walked up to the door. I was nervous, I've been gone for 3 years, my mother's death broke me. I felt betrayed by them for keeping my mother secret away from me. I needed time from it but my emotions controlled me and haunted me for these past few years. I hurt the person I cared the most in this world. I sighed as I finally knocked on their door. The last family I have. I heard the commotion as I heard the front door slowly creek open. I saw Asher stand there he looked at me. He had obviously grown he would be 7 almost 8.

"Hey Ash."

"MOMMY!!!" He ran off yelling for Aunt Nicole. I heard footsteps reach the door when I saw Aunt Nicole with a baby on her hip. Her eyes welled up as she embraced me into a hug. I hugged her back as she looked back to really take in I was here.

"I'm so glad you're ok honey."

"Who is this?" I asked saying hi to the baby on her hip.

"This is Verse." She said as I looked up my heart broke. Aunt Nicole loved my mom like she was her sister. I gave a smile to her looking at Verse. Aunt Nicole smiled, as she led me in and shut the door. My stomach turned in knots when we walked down the hallway leading to the dining room where everyone was.

"Y'all look who found his way back!!!" She announced as we walked into the dining room. Everybody turned to me and mines went straight to hers.

Vicky.

I don't know what I was expecting her reaction would be. All I wanted to do was run and pick her up and never let her go again. I looked next to her and there was a man holding her hand.

"Oh my god," Jaden said as he got up to come hug me. I hugged him back my eyes still glued to hers. She was just staring at me with her sad hurt and angry eyes.

"I'm so glad you're back ok."

"We were so worried about you."

"Where were you?"

All the things they said to me but she hasn't talked to me once. I know everyone could feel the uneasy tension between us. She was whispering to her boyfriend Teagan. I tried to conceal how much I wanted to just beat the guy up. But I know I didn't have the right to do that.

"I got to use the bathroom." I excused myself going to the bathroom trying to calm myself down so I didn't bash that guy head in.

I looked over to see her shut the door. Her eyes were filled with rage.

"YOU A**HOLE, HOW DARE YOU JUST COME BACK AND ACT LIKE NOTHING EVEN HAPPENED," she started yelling at me and I just looked at her. Her eyes were welling up with tears. I missed her so much these last few years. She's the only thing that kept me going.

"God I missed you." I said as I pulled her close to me and kissed her. I couldn't resist her, the years without her killed me. She pushed me back looking at me angry as tears fell from her eyes.

"I'm sorry V."

"You made me loose everything!" She yelled at me pushing backwards.

"I lost my baby because of you f**king a**hole," I looked at her shocked. She just realized what she said.

"W-what?" She sniffed as she wiped her face with her sleeve. She contemplated what she was going to say. What the f**k did she mean? She was pregnant?

"I was pregnant but I lost it that day Jace." She looked up at me with her teary eyes. I felt my heart break, I not only broke her heart once I made it hurt 10x more. I felt my eyes watered as I reached out for her as she backed up. I fell back my back hitting the cold tile of the wall as I looked at her heartbroken.

"F**k V."

"Y-you just left me there all by myself!!!" She sobbed as she fell to the ground.

"I was finally getting better and you come back and ruin it all!" She yelled at me but all I could do was to just hug her as she resisted hitting me trying to make me let go. I wouldn't there was no way I was going to let her go again. She was going to be mine again. She looked up at me crying.

"I-i hate you Jace!"

"I love you V."

"STOP, I can't be around you!" She pushed me off of her and got up.

"Just stay away from me Jace my life was better off without you." She said as she stormed out the bathroom. I sat there running my fingers through my hair.

F**k I'm so sorry Vicky for the pain I caused you.
