Vicky's POV

I sat there on the couch repeating everything that just happened in the last day. He came barging back into my life. I couldn't stop thinking about how good it felt to be back in his arms, to feel his lips against mines again.

"VICKY IS IT TRUE!?!" Cami came barging into my house. I looked at her wanting to start crying again. She brought Kieran with her and I could read him like a book.

"You knew where he was all this time didn't you!" I stood up and interrogated him. He gulped and nodded.

"WHAT THE F**K KIERAN!!!" Cami yelled at him mad for lying to her.

"Y'all have to understand he lost his mom and was emotional."

I looked at Kieran wanting to just cry.

"He asked about you everyday Vicks." I felt a tear trickle down my face when Kieran said that. Why did he get to know how I was doing but I didn't get to know about him?

"Kieran, do you know where he's staying." He looked at me shocked but instantly told me where. I ran to put my shoes on and ran to my car. I put the address into my gps and speeded my way there. I needed to know why he left, why he never came back till now, why'd he still care? I pulled up to the hotel where he was staying. I looked around the parking lot and saw his truck. He still had the same truck even after all these years. I raced down every hall looking for his room.

BANG!

When I found his room I instantly banged on his door, I was panting from running around this hotel.

"V?"

Instantly I hit him with my bag crying.

"Why did you get to know how I was doing but I couldn't know about you!? Why'd you leave me!? I know I screwed up but you should've hear me out instead of running away!?" Without noticing I was already in his embrace crying on his shoulder.

"Why come back now?"

"I'm sorry I left you alone Vicky." I looked up at him with my blurry vision as I just broke down in his arms, I pulled on the fabric of his shirt.

"I was hurt when you didn't tell me my mom was sick, I was hurt and I just wanted to get away from everything I felt betrayed by everyone." I looked at him with his teary eyes.

"You're the only reason I survived the thought of once I got my head cleared I'd be able to be there for you completely." My lip quivered as he explained. 

"You're the only light in my life V."

"I missed you too Jace." I said as I pulled him to me and kissed him. I could taste the tears falling from his eyes on his lips. He picked me up and pinned me against the wall. I broke the kiss and looked into his eyes, I've been yearning for him ever since he left me.

"My life is never better without you, You'll always be the love of my life Jace."

"I can't go farther with you though, I need to talk to Teagan." He returned me to my feet as I cupped his cheek. I've never stopped loving this man, I just buried my love of with a mountain of hate. He nodded as he planted a kiss on my lips.

"I'd wait forever for you V." I smiled and just wanted to stay here with him and forget about everything else but I know I couldn't.

"I'll be back." I said as I ran out the door wanting to get over this quickly so I could be with Jace in every way I want to. Sure Teagan was a great guy and I liked him but no one will ever beat my love for Jace. He will be my first and last love.

I walked into my dad's company running to Teagan's office.

SLAM!!

I slammed opened his door to see him working.

"Hey babe what are you doing here?" He asked me while I walked closer to his desk. Sure I felt guilty that I was gonna break his heart but I can't stop the way I feel.

"I can't do this anymore Teagan."

He laughed nervously thinking I was joking. I gave him a serious look.

"Vicky?"

"You're a great guy and of course I care about you it's just I don't love you. I'll move out you can keep the house." I started walking towards the door when I stopped when he asked me if it was Jace I loved. I turned around and gave him a weak smile.

"He's always been the love of my life."

"Then I wish you two the best." He gave me a weak smile. He'll make someone very happy but that person is just not me. I gave him a smile back as I walked out of his office.

I just wanted to get back to Jace.
