Jungkook arrived at Jimin's house, where Mrs. Park informed him that Jimin was in his room. Jungkook made his way there and found Jimin engrossed in a phone conversation.
Jimin: "Okay Sir, I have no problem with that. Got it. Thank you"
As Jimin ended the call, Jungkook entered, sensing a bit of tension.
Jungkook: "Hey, Jimin. What's up?"
Jimin (upon seeing Jungkook, raised an eyebrow): "Finally decided to grace me with your presence? You've been avoiding me."
Jungkook (looking apologetic, explained): "I didn't want to disturb you with the office stuff. You seemed busy."
Jimin (softening a bit, responded): "You're not a disturbance, Jungkook. We're best friends, remember?"
Jimin's expression shifted, showing a tinge of jealousy.
Jimin: "You're having sleepovers with your new friends. Huh? You've changed, Kook."
Jungkook (defended himself): "It was a sudden plan. I didn't mean to neglect our time together."
Jimin sighed, letting the matter rest, then curiosity crept in.
Jimin: "What about V? Is he just a friend, or something more?"
Jungkook blushed, caught off guard.
Jungkook: "Actually, he's my new friend. Remember? We met a masked man at the press conference, he is V, we met accidentally and things just clicked."
Jimin (raising an eyebrow, teased): "Is he more than just a friend? Are you two dating?"
Jungkook (hesitated before admitting): "I.. Actually have feelings for him."
Jimin (surprised, asked): "Does he know?"
Jungkook: "Not yet. I haven't told him."
Jimin (with a mischievous grin, suggested): "You should introduce me to him. I want to see who's stolen your heart."
Jungkook (blushing even more, agreed): "Alright, I'll take you to meet him next time we hang out."
Jimin, sensing the urgency, looked at Jungkook and said.
Jimin: "Jungkook, I want to meet V as soon as possible. I'll be going abroad for work in a few days."
Jungkook (surprised, asked): "How long will you be gone, Jimin?"
Jimin (sighed): "It's a year-long assignment. I'll miss our time together."
Jungkook (realizing the impact, nodded solemnly): "A year is a long time, Jimin. We'll miss you too."
Jimin (smiled): "That's why I want to meet V before I leave. I want to know the person who'll keep you company while I'm away."
Jungkook (touched by Jimin's sentiment, agreed): "Of course, Jimin. I'll arrange a meeting with V before you go."
