4. Fate; Boy meets Boy

"So... you're not going to transform into your Wolf form anymore?"

"Well, for now... maybe... Because even if I wanted to, I might not be able to return to human form..."

"............"

Jungkook just nodded. He secretly glance at Taehyung. 

Last night, Jungkook couldn't sleep all night. The snow-white wolf's gaze, which he could never forget even if he closed his eyes or opened them again, disturbed Jungkook's heart like that all night long.  And, his scent... he couldn't forget that strong, alluring scent. It was difficult to express that feeling with any words. He had to do his best not to be fooled by that feeling.

But even so, he was thinking of an excuse to meet him again. Funny enough, he stayed up all night thinking of all kinds of excuses. Then he remembered what Snow White had told him that he had come here by train. If he had come in his human form, his belongings might still be where they met yesterday. So, as soon as the sun rose, Jungkook ran to the place where he had met the snow-white wolf yesterday.

And when he finally found a bag that seemed to be his in the cave, Jungkook was overjoyed. Jungkook could feel his wolf roaring in joy as he ran towards Jin's house with the bag in his mouth. Have they ever had such perfect chemistry? Jungkook could feel himself getting excited inexplicably. And he suddenly became curious.

How he look like... when he's in his human form?

When they arrived at Jin's house yesterday, Jungkook thought that Snow White Wolf-V would transform into his human form. However, no one knew why, but he seemed unable to return to his human form, and Jungkook quietly left there for their privacy. Maybe that's what kept him tossing and turning all night?

But he didn't want his wolf to sense his feelings. Even though, he already know that they have no choice but to know each other's feelings even if they don't want to. He was still eagerly waiting to meet his fated mate and wanted to pretend not to notice JK who was attracted to Snow-White Wolf.

However, his efforts to deny his feelings were in vain; his heart was pounding at the sight of the boy he encountered as soon as he entered Jin's house. And, upon seeing him, Jungkook was immediately able to recognize that this boy was the snow-white wolf he had brought Jin's house  yesterday. It was a natural awareness, like the snow that falls in winter melting in spring.

And, the moment their eyes met, he was completely spellbound.

It was like... fate.

Yeah, that was the only word that came to Jungkook's mind at that time.

FATE...


Jungkook couldn't believe that Taehyung willingly followed him when he suggested taking a walk. Of course, Taehyung would be safe wherever he was with him, and besides, the place they were walking was their pack's territory. Maybe Taehyung was very grateful that he brought his luggage. Considering that he was covering his body with a tablecloth, it was a very reasonable guess. 

Jungkook's throat felt dry as he remembered Taehyung's collarbone visible through the flowing tablecloth. If Jungkook had faced Taehyung just a little longer, he would have probably suffocated.

Anyway, Jungkook was very happy that Taehyung was willing to follow him, who was like a stranger to him. It felt like a dream that they were taking a walk together.

"I just feel sorry for V because I'm so messy. And, being here in his guise makes it too easy for others to notice..."

Taehyung's somewhat depressing voice suddenly came in and brought Jungkook back to his senses.
