He hastily scribbled out his notes, noting that there was an extremely likely chance of Garmadon attacking in this class since Garmadon only ever attacked during this period.
He could hear heavy metal and violin blasting from Cole's headphones behind him.
He sighed, unable to concentrate with his nerves all over the place.
He'd already started to tune out Mrs. Burnet, choosing to stare off at the the "no phone in class" poster hanging next to the whiteboard Mrs. Burnet was writing on currently.
Zane was somewhere behind him, likely also tuning out Mrs. Burnet in favor of thinking about birds (the nindroid had a weird fascination for them).
To his left, Nya was humming a tune to a song Lloyd didn't know.
It didn't help his already dwindling concentration that Jay was tapping his pencil on his desk repeatedly to his right.
Lloyd turned to glare at Jay, but suddenly Mrs. Burnet yelped,
"OH, NO! GARMADON IS HERE!"
Lloyd stiffened in his seat.
All of his classmates, excluding the ninja yelled,
"THANKS, LLOYD!"
Lloyd sighed.
Mrs. Burnet screamed from under her desk,
"YOU ALL KNOW THE PROCEDURE! DUCK UNDER YOUR DESKS AND PREPARE FOR THE WORST!"
All the students ducked under their desks in uncomfortable positions, except for the ninja.
All the ninja stood up (excluding Cole, he stayed sitting) and raised their hand, and yelled in unison,
"CAN I HAVE A BATHROOM PASS???"
Mrs. Burnet peeped her head out from under her desk, and corrected,
"I think you mean 'may I have a bathroom pass?' May I?"
She frowned at the ninja, who were glaring impatiently at her. She adjusted her cat-eye glasses nervously.
She sighed in exasperation.
"Oh, whatever. Do what you want."
The ninja burst out of their seats, running out of the classroom and nearly knocking down the door from its hinges.
They skidded to a stop as they arrived at their lockers, and opened them accordingly, stepped inside, and slammed the locker door open.
Suddenly, the base of the locker fell off its hinges, and Lloyd dropped down the chute located directly underneath his locker.
The light faded, and he fell.

Soon enough, the light started fading in at the end of the chute, and Lloyd jumped out on his feet, along with the other ninja.

Kai jumped into his mech, and yelled back,
"Ready, and standing by!"
He whooped and blasted fire from the arms of his mech.
"Water Ninja?"
Nya was picked up by her mech, and she buckled herself in.
"Ready, and standing by!"
She operated her mech so that it dropped down on all eight of it's legs from where it hung on the ceiling of the warehouse.
"Ice Ninja?"
Zane climbed into the entrance of his mech, slamming the entrance door shut with a slam.
As soon as he got comfortable, some of his parts were swapped out by automated robots in favor of more maneuverable and durable parts suited for fighting.
"Loading...loading...loading...loading..."
"Alright, we'll let him load. Lightning Ninja?"
"Ready!— wait no—"
Jay yelped as he noticed his mask stuck on the entrance of his mech, quickly fumbled around to grab it, and slipped it on.
"Ready, and standing by!"
"Earth Ninja?"
Cole waited patiently as his mech let down an arm to pick him up, before dropping him into the mech's controls room.
Cole's mech's AI said calmly,
"Turntables at thirty three and a third RPM."
Cole grinned as he started playing his music.
"Ready, and standing by!"
Lloyd started climbing up his mech, and jumped into the seat.
"Green Ninja, ready and standing by!"
He glanced around before yelling,
"All Ninjas! HIT IT!!!!"
His dragon mech blasted green fire, causing a roar that echoed around the warehouse.
The terrestrial and overhead entrances/exits opened with a groan, and all the Ninja cheered as they got ready to save Ninjago City (yet again).
