She had healed from her injury since it wasn't that serious. She got to know that someone had burned the guard that shot her. She knew who it was. But she guessed that he must have some plan. He must have some plan. At least she hopes so because today was the durga Pooja. Garuda had shifted her marriage after two days and she was relieved. She was yet scared. The maids helped her take a refreshing bath and as they were drying her hair she was deep in her thoughts. 'I wonder what Rocky will do to the man that was supposed to marry me?' she thought to herself. She shivered remembering what happened to Dilawar just because he asked for her hand in marriage. They put her hair up in a bun. Then they helped her wear jewellery. She wore a peach-coloured lehenga with gold material embroidery and they changed her nose ring to a piece that got connected to her hair. Red dots covered her forehead with a crystal bindi and a heavy choker necklace. She had gold bangles on her wrist and after she was done she went out of the room to see her brother ready for the pooja. "What do they do in the puja though?" she asked to herself curiously. "Human sacrifice," a man said making her eyes widen. "Every year at this time Garuda makes three human sacrifices," he said simply. Her hands shook. 'Please save them, Rocky,' she thought to herself pinching her fingers. The maids helped her out of the place and she held the amulet that Rocky tied around her neck that was hidden behind all the jewellery. She clutched the amulet tightly and prayed to god to protect these people and Rocky. As Garuda went into the river she saw three men on their knees in line. Garuda held one of them down and chopped their head off. She closed her eyes tightly hands shaking with fear. Another one of them was killed and she felt blood splash over her. She flinched hiding her face. 'Oh god Rocky where are you?' she thought to herself. Before Garuda could kill the last man Rocky had risen from the water and slashed his head. She felt Garuda's brother colour her skin red. She didn't know whether she wanted to be happy or sad. But she was happy for the people as Rocky ascended the stairs. The guards aimed their guns at him but before they could hurt him the people of KGF who had no courage attacked him. She felt pride surge within her as Rocky walked away. But what hurt her was how he did not even spare her a glance. She felt a hand grab hers and she was dragged to where Rocky stood. She saw him fidget in his pocket and saw a yellow thread. Her eyes widened and before she could process he had tied that thread around her neck. 'Did he seriously keep a thaali for this situation?' she thought to herself. He cut his thumb with the sword making her wince as he filled her hairline with his blood. "Are you angry?" he asked her quietly. "Raja you were the one that I was supposed to be with since my childhood," she said. She folded her hand together and prayed infront of the idol. "Besides, I didn't forget the word I gave you," she said. She turned to him and he saw her fidget with the necklaces that she had on her neck. He saw her untie the thread his mother gave him and after she was done she gestured Rocky to give her his hand. He tied the thread around his wrist and said "This rightfully belongs to you," "Like you do?" he asked with a smirk. She slapped his chest and turned to the people. They cheered seeing the man that had saved them and the woman that had risked her life for one of them together. As their sultan and sultana. Rocky's blood was bright red on her hairline and it looked like sindoor. Rocky took her hand and took her to the fire and started circling around it. After seven rounds Rocky knew that he had finally made the woman he wanted so much his. Now he cared about no one. He kissed her knuckles and hugged her by her side just enjoying the moment.
