A young mother ran while holding the little girl close to her chest feeling scared as some people chased behind her. Blood oozed from her feet as she ran fast pieces of glasses piercing her legs making her stumble. She went into a secluded corner and hid there holding the child tightly. Suddenly the child cried loudly as the woman's breathing quickened uttering prayers in her head. She heard some footsteps as she receded into the corner holding the little girl muttering prayers in her head. "What are you doing here?" She heard a woman's voice and she sighed in relief. "If you don't get out of here right now I will call the villagers over and let them deal with you," the woman threatened. She heard some clatters and being concerned for the unknown woman rushed out. A little boy looking about 7 years old stood in front of the woman whom she assumed to be his mother breathing heavily while one of the men cried holding his injured head in his hand. Before they could take a step to them millions of rocks had been thrown their way and she looked to see many little boys standing at the top of the building. "Thank you so much," she said to the woman who smiled at her. She took a look at her child and caressed her cheeks that was dirty. She wiped the mud away as the little girl smiled. The boy did nothing but watch carefully. "My name is Shanti," the woman said. "Anupriya," she said and the woman nodded. "What about the baby?" Shanti asked and the woman looked at her newborn with a gentle look. "Rani Radha Raddy,"  "My little boy's name is Raja Krishnappa Bhairya," she said and Anupriya smiled at the little boy who was looking at the baby with a curious expression. "You can touch her if you want to," she said leaning down with the child. Raja extended his hand toward the child and touched her soft skin. "She is so soft," he exclaimed. "Maa can I keep her?" The boy asked curiously making Shanti's face flush and Anupriya laugh at the innocence of the little boy. "Beta she isn't a thing to have she is a human," Shanti said. "But maa I want to have her," the little boy said. Anupriya laughed and leaned down to him and said "You can have her when you both grow up alright?" She asked and the little boy grinned widely. "Anupriya you shouldn't teach him wrong things," Shanti said looking at her boy who ran off with his friends. "He is just a little boy Shanti it's alright. When he grows up I am pretty sure he will remember about this and cry about how embarrassing it was," Anupriya said but oh boy how wrong she was. "Do you have anywhere to go to?" She asked and Anupriya went silent. "You can stay in the house near mine if you want," she said. "What about your husband?" Anupriya asked and Shaanti went silent. "I like to think that he is dead," she said and Anupriya went silent. "Alright," she said. She didn't want to enquire more and make the woman uncomfortable.

Anupriya's eyes widened when he saw the man that she was running away from near her and she stumbled back in shock. "Oh so the whore is here," he said and her eyes teared up. "W-What do you want from me?" She asked. "The wretched seed Suryavanshi put in you gone," he said. "It can ruin my future and my children's future too. Suryavanshi paid me so I am here to kill it myself," Anupriya fell back her back hitting the trash can. "All these years me and my child were never found near you so please leave us alone," she begged. The man didn't care and opened the door to the house she lived. She fell on his leg holding it tightly begging him to let the child go. The man kicked her off and went to the 7 year old that was crying crawling backwards. "Such a pretty little thing aren't you?" He asked making the girl cry harder. Her mother was bleeding heavily as she tried reaching the child. Before the man could even touch the girl a bottle hit his head making him fall down blood oozing out of his bald head. The little girl watched with her big eyes as Raja came in panting heavily his breathing ragged. "DON'T TOUCH HER YOU BASTARD," he screamed while the man fell down on the floor. Shaanti who lived next year came rushing in and gasped when she saw the scene. The little girl sobbing harshly a police men dead beside her leg and Raja breathing raggedly. She went to Anupriya who was bleeding her hair scattered all over the place. Her brown eyes were filled with tears as she gasped for breaths. "In the cupboard there is money that I saved all these years to send my daughter to a hostel in Bombay please send her there," she said taking her last breaths making Shaanti cry hitting her head. Raja cried seeing his mother figure lifeless on the floor. Shaanti went to the cupboard opening it her eyes filled with tears and determination. "I promise I will send your daughter off to Bombay for studies like you wanted," she said staring at the lifeless body. And just like she promised she enrolled Rani in a hostel in Bombay and came back to Banglore.

Shaanti got sick a year after and Rocky who was already sad after Rani left became even crazier and tried his best to save his one and only family. "You don't have enough money to save your mother," he screamed frustrated crying. He went  to see his dying mother who had tears in her eyes as she breathed raggedly. "People says that if you have you can't live peacefully," she said and he cried. "But if you don't have money you can't even die peacefully," she said. "I don't care about how you survive in this world," she said her heart paining and her voice coming out low. "Promise me that you will die as the richest man in the world," she said and he cried taking his mother's hand in his.  "And while you rule over the world you will have YOUR Rani by your side no matter what," she said and he nodded. She closed her eyes taking her last breath. After his mother's funeral he decided that he will work hard to make his mother's wish true. He will go to the place where his Rani lives in. Bombay.
