Chapter-10

Rani felt the chilly breeze brush against her skin, sending shivers down her back. She wrapped her saree around herself. "Mallamma, where's Rocky?" She asked. "I don't know miss," she said. Rani nodded confused as she started walking away. She heard some voices coming from the office room and decided to peek in confused about who it was. As she held the door to open it, her heart sank with fear and her hands began to tremble uncontrollably. It was Rocky and another woman who she recognized to be Rocky's friend Milky who had her hand on his chest. The moment Rocky's eyes caught her his eyes widened realising his position with the woman who stood leaning over the table. He pushed the woman away and got up in an instant. "Chinna I swear this isn't what it seems like," Rocky said fearfully. Milky sat on the chair smirking victoriously. "THEN WHAT ROCKY?" she screamed. "WAS THIS YOUR STUPID MEETINGS?" she screamed tears forming in her eyes. "I thought I could trust you," she screamed. "Chinna please this isn't what it seems like," Rocky pleaded. "WE ARE DONE ROCKY," she screamed tears cascading down her face. "My whole life is ruined because of you two," she screamed falling on her knees her face buried in her palm. "Ayoo I wish I never loved you, Rocky," she said in between.  The fact that Rani saw him with another woman made his blood run cold. He was frozen in his spot, his heart pounding in his chest with fear. While the other woman was smirking in victory, feeling triumphant that her plan had worked out perfectly.

Suddenly Rani stood taking her hand off her face sniffling. She wiped her tears away and looked around as if she wasn't crying seconds ago. "Is this how you wanted me to react Milky?" She asked looking straight at the woman who sat there confused. Rocky who was scared seconds ago looked at her in confusion. "Wanted me to throw a tantrum thinking that Rocky cheated on me?" She asked laughing mockingly. "Seriously," she questioned. "Out of all the ideas that you had to make me think Rocky cheated?" She asked. "You could have told me he murdered someone. Could have told me ANYTHING else and I would have believed you," "You see You started seeing Rocky a few years ago," "But since the day I was born I was with him," "Ever since I was crawling he wanted me to be his," "Ever since I became a legal adult he wanted to marry me just waiting for the right opportunity," "And years after he finally got married to the love of his love someone like him would throw that chance?" She said chuckling. "I knew Rocky for a long time and I know he would do anything except betray his loved ones," she said softly gazing at him with hearty eyes. Her gaze returned to Milky who was shivering in fear under the gazes of the two people. She stormed towards the woman and grabbed her arm tightly and started dragging her away. The woman yelled and struggled fiercely, attempting to break free from the tight grip. She dragged her away to the exit. She threw her out of the mansion making all the workers pause and watch the girl who was on the floor looking humiliated. As Rani slowly made her way towards her, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. The way Rani was looking at her, kneeling on the floor and staring dead into her eyes, sent shivers down her spine. The silence in the place was deafening, broken only by the sound of her breathing. She felt trapped, vulnerable, and completely at the mercy of Rani. It was a moment that would haunt her for a long time. "Oh yes, of course. Consider this the huge favour I did for you that you will never be able to repay. You're welcome." "Cause once Rocky recovers from the shock he will take your life for trying to take me away from you?" She spoke with a smirk. "Do you think he'll fall in love with you after I'm gone?" She asked in a calm voice that scared the shit out of the people. "Were you always this stupid?" She asked. "Rocky would have murdered you for taking away one of the things he got after so much effort and years of waiting," "Have you ever felt like you're the only one who matters to someone? That's how I feel when he tells me that he loves and wants only me. It's like nothing else in the world could replace me in his heart. It's a feeling that makes me feel special and loved," she said. "So next time before you perform stunts like these think it through," she spoke proudly. "Get this trash out," she said to the guard with no emotions in her voice turning away. She turned and walked away as the guards took the woman away. Her eyes softened the moment she saw Rocky standing in the room looking perplexed and somewhat happy. The moment he saw he ran to her grabbing her waist and pulling her closer to his chest. As she nestled closer to him, she could feel his strong heartbeat pulsing beneath her ear. The reassuring rhythm of his heart filled her with a sense of comfort and security, making her feel safe and protected in his arms. "Did you get scared?" She asked him making him nod. "Yes," he said his voice breaking. "I can't believe it! I thought I lost you. Oh my god, what would I do without you? My heart is racing just thinking about it." "His words escaped his lips, but his voice quivered with powerful emotions. "Your loyalty is what makes me feel safe," she whispered. "I trust you with all my heart and I know that you would never betray our love by cheating on me." "Darling, my love for you runs deep and true, and nothing can ever shake the unbreakable bond that we share. I trust this bond with all my heart and soul, and I am grateful for every moment that we spend together. You are the missing piece that completes me, and I vow to cherish and nurture this bond for eternity. You are my forever love." She said making his eyes tear up. He held her tightly, feeling the warmth of her body against his. At that moment, he knew that he never wanted to let her go. With every beat of his heart, he hugged her closer, savouring the feeling of her in his arms. He couldn't help but think that this moment was perfect, and he never wanted it to end.
