Chapter- 8

Rocky made his men take her to KGF after he instructed the maids to prepare her. As instructed by Rocky they made her wear a blue saree. She wore a thick necklace layer along with the yellow thread around her neck. The guards took her to the car where they started taking her to the meeting. She observed the room. There was Andrews whom she had gotten to know in Bombay and Rajendra Desai whom she had seen in the minister's office. She quietly stood in the corner when the people around her glared at her. "Isn't she the dirty seed of Suryavardhan?" Kamal asked making her grimace. Before she could say anything the door opened and Rocky came in. She kept her mouth shut since she didn't want him to die. "Oh god please look into it so that no more heads are cut for this chair," he said before sitting. He looked around the room and saw that everyone was standing. "Hey sit down respect and fear should all be in the heart all are one," he said. "You created a good meeting room," he said. "Why are you all so dull? I am new to the place not to the field. I will take this company to great heights all I need is your prayers and blessings" "Do you think this is a field of kho-kho," Kamal said and Rani stared at him with an annoyed look. "After one is gone another one steps in," "Our parents gave birth to us to take care of this kingdom, not some outsiders," Kamal said. "Nepotism?" Rocky asked. "What is happening in our country?" he asked mocking 

"It's always a recommendation, donation, domination, influence, father's name," "What will the poor do?" "What will those who score first rank do? The officers who work sleep do?" "And the guy who kills a man alone do?" he says slamming his hands on the table. "Merit show me some respect," he said. "Your parents everything right except giving birth to you in my generation," "I will rule and you will watch me rule," he said. "What say Chinna?" he spoke turning to Rani. Rani however turned to Kamal. "You kept on barking about how my husband was an outsider and that you deserved to rule the field?" she asked. "What happened to all that stuff when it came to killing Garuda?" "He does the work and you rule?" she asked mockingly. A slap landed on her cheeks making the entire room gasp and Rocky who was in a playful mode went deadly silent. 'HEY! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? DOES IT MAKE YOU SUCH A GREAT PERSON IF YOU ARE THE SISTER OF GARUDA? YOU ARE JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER. A WHORE. YOU TWO ARE MADE FOR...." before he could continue Rocky had shot him dead. Kamal fell to the floor dead on her feet. "Nivu nanna hudgai mele kai hakalu dhairya madu?" (You dare lay a hand on my girl?) Rocky said angrily. "Rocky leave it he is already dead," she said dragging him away from the body. Rocky took deep breaths. "Come on chinna let's go," he spoke. "If we can get a Rocky to kill a Garuda then can't we get another Rocky to kill this one," he said. Rani sighed annoyed and turned to the man. "Ayy Avan tandegu adu sadhyavagilla," (Even his dad couldn't do it) "One and Only piece," she said and Rocky stared at her surprised. "Talking shit," she said. "Come on Raja let's go," she said. Rocky went inside the helicopter and gave his hand for Rani to take. "Chinna how did you know what I was going to say?" he asked. "I had been seeing you since I was a baby I know you enough now," she said looking out the window. "What happened Chinna?" he asked. "I don't know. Everything is just going too fast," "It's all too good to be true," she said. "Don't worry Chinna," Rocky said not having an idea of how to comfort her further. Both of them looked out the window and Rani held the thaali in her hand staring at it. 

Chachu was the first one to receive the king and queen of KGF. He knew that this would happen someday. Rocky would never let anyone else even near her. Rani was forever meant for Rocky. The first time he came to Bombay he came holding the hand of a 8 year old girl. At first it was like a pure platonic relationship. But Rocky hit the police officer because of Rani. Because he had tried to hurt her. Then as they grew up it grew up into something more than a platonic relationship. Even in her school no one dared to even look at her because it would end up bloody. Rani got angry at him because no boys approached her and she also wanted some boys approaching her. Chachu hugged them both giving them his blessing. "Live long children," he said and they bowed their head. One of the maids came with the aarti and Rocky filled her forehead with sindoor. She put her left foot on the stairs and climbed up. Then when she came in she saw. A beer bottle (Wait what?) She stared at Rocky bewildered. "Go on Chinna," then her eyes went to Mallamma who shrugged with an awkward expression. Rocky was Rocky of course. She sighed kicking the bottle making it fall down. She leaned to Rocky and said "I thought you hated people who wasted liquor?" "It's empty," he whispered back. "Then what's there on the floor?" she asked confused. Rocky followed her gaze. "MALLAMMA," he yelled making the poor woman flinch. "I told you to take an empty bottle," he whined. "Hey atleast it overflowed," she said and he huffed. They both came in the mansion and Rocky stormed inside. Rani showed Mallamma a thumbs up and said "You did good he drank too much anyways," she said before running behind her husband.
