The girl was running again. She could feel it. She was close. The child was nearby. She suddenly saw light and stopped. There was a small, two-story house. She could clearly see a child -a boy- shouting at his bedroom floor for some strange reason the girl didn't understand. The girl hid behind a nearby bush at the edge of the forest and waited.

The bush was rough and uncomfortable, but it was manageable compared to some of the things the girl had to sleep on or in. The child would come out soon. She just had to wait.

It was night when the girl awoke to a loud noise. Movement caught her eye. Someone was coming out of the house! A light brown skinned girl with long black hair stepped out of the house. She looked tired; the girl noted silently. She decided to make her move.

She stepped out of the bush, her muscles aching from how far she had run to find the child. She walked toward the child but as soon as her feet hit the sidewalk, her body gave out and she fell to the ground in front of the child.
