"Hey, you won!!" The blonde avian grinned, running over to hug his best friend. Scar smiled warmly, leaning into the hug.
"Well, it was mostly Gem to be honest," He chuckled, "I can't take all the credit."

The brunette reluctantly pulled away from the hug, turning to look at the other boys from his cabin who were all chatting with each other. "We have free time for a bit now, do you wanna hang out?" He asked a little awkwardly.
"Yeah, that would be great!" Grian beamed, taking Scar's hand and walking to his cabin.

The two flopped down on Scar's bed, already tired from their first challenge of the day. It was always so nice when he and Scar were hanging out just the two of them. They didn't need to say anything, they could just relax and be alone with each other.

Grian's eyes flicked over to Scar, sitting only a few inches away from him. He slowly let his head fall onto the brunette's shoulder, feeling Scar adjust to give the boy's wings more room and make sure he was comfortable.

Meanwhile Scar could feel heat building up in his face, glad that the shorter boy couldn't see the blush that was likely covering his face at that moment. Much to Grian's surprise, Scar lifted his hand to slowly comb through the blonde's hair, going carefully and making sure not to pull.

The avian relaxed into the touch, as this kind of thing wasn't uncommon between the two, leading a lot of people to assume that they were dating. The thought alone brought a light blush to the boy's face, pretending that, just for a moment, he and Scar could have that kind of relationship.

Grian's wings involuntarily began to puff up as he sat there daydreaming about the boy that he was currently sat rested against. Weird? Sure. That didn't mean he wouldn't do it anyways though.

The taller boy looked down at Grian again, feeling the smaller boy's colourful wings become slightly fluffier and stretch against his arm. His face was dusted a slight pink, though Scar assumed that he was imaging that. It was warm in the cabins after all, with it being August and everything. Everyone's a bit pink this time of year.

By the time Tango and Skizz returned to the cabin to call the two back for lunch, they had adjusted so that Grian was instead leaning against Scar's chest with the taller boy'sarm around Grian's front, half asleep and definitely a little flustered. The two stumbled over their words as they over-explained to Skizz and Tango that they were not, in fact, together and they didn't like each other like that, and any other excuses that could come to mind.

"It's all good, we get it," Skizz winked at Scar, obviously not buying their excuses as they walked over to the cafeteria to eat lunch.

Yes this was filler I'm sorry-

I've had basically no motivation the last few days though so I needed to write something short and sweet to get me back on my feet with writing. Also it was cute so you can't really complain  /j

Get some sleep and have a wonderful day/night!
