(Y/N): Hello! I heard you guys were recruiting, so I thought I'd take my chances. Oh and I'm sort of new in town...

Within the Royal Capital, you were currently hanging around the Adventurer's Guild in hopes of being recruited. However... The party that you were trying to join were only giving you blank stares since you didn't look like much. Compared to them, you seemed as if you were underdressed for adventuring while they donned powerful gear.

Knight: Sorry, bud. You're gonna have to look elsewhere.

Crusader: I'd listen to him, if I were you.

(Y/N): *sigh* A simple "no" would have been fine.

You walked away from the group and decided to take a seat in the dining area.

(Y/N): Should have stuck with the Caravan quests... At least then, I would get to see Snow all the time... Oh well...

Waitress: Are you ready to order?

(Y/N): I'll just have the special of the day and some ale please... Whatevers cheap is fine.

You heard laughter from a nearby adventurer as he gave you the type grin that you wanted to punch.

Waitress: Coming right up.

She immediately left you alone to your thoughts as you rested your head on your hand.

(Y/N): *low volume* Really not in the mood for this...!

After some time, the waitress returned with your requested order along with some extra beer and some desert.

(Y/N): Woah, I didn't ask for the extra stuff! I'm on a bit of a budget here!

Waitress: Not to worry, the meal, along with the other items, have already been paid for! Courtesy of that lovely lady over there!

You were shocked to hear about the meal until she gestured toward a blonde girl sitting at the bar with a couple other girls. The blonde girl waved cheerfully before bring her attention to her companions.

Waitress: Her name's Oro, she says to meet with her as soon as you're finished~ Just don't keep her waiting for too long.

Once she left, you couldn't help but lightly smile at the kind gesture.

(Y/N): Kickass, I guess coming out here wasn't a mistake after all!

You heard a grunt from the same burly adventurer, who was disappointed that you were able to find some form of fortune in the capital.

(Y/N): *in thought* Jackass...!

You shrugged it off and immediately dug into your meal, which you took your time to savor but you were very hungry from the long travel that took place before arriving. After a few bites, you took a drink from one of the mugs only for you to realize that it was of high quality.

(Y/N): Woah... This is definitely not cheap ale!

Moments Later

(Y/N): That hit the spot!

You quickly wiped your mouth with a small towel before quickly rising from your seat and immediately moved towards the kind person. At least you thought were until the burly adventurer stuck his foot outwards and practically forced you to trip while you weren't looking. Naturally, the occupants of the guild witnessed this and everyone began to laugh, except for the group of three girls that were clearly annoyed.
