    Happy New Month!!! :-D

 So sorry for delaying, i actually wrote dis two days after the last update but couldn't cos the connection was faulty . I might not update much again cos exams have started, in fact we wrote physics which is my worst subject even though I get good grades in it. I don't know if I did well though :-/ and I need to plan my school's party. Plus, I've been chosen  to host my school's red carpet!!! I have no idea wat to do!! Oh, n dis book may be to fast but I don't have time, sowy :-(. Tnx 4 everytin :-*

Ryan needed to  calm down, he couldn't risk falling into another woman's trap like before and that was why he had been avoiding her ever since that day in both night and day most especially in his dreams! He sighed running his hands through his hair , resting it in his palms, he bowed his head. He could remember the expression on her face when he had made that clear after she resumed work and he made it clear to her he was still her boss and nothing more.

     He stared at the lady standing before him once more, he had to do this well which meant not letting her distract him from his main reason of calling her.

   "I'm not going to waste my time here okay," he kept his voice cold," what happened last time was a mistake." He didn't like the look on her face though, it was a mixture of shock, sadness, disappointment and so many others and he immediately regretted saying it but he had to ,to avoid hurting both of them especially her.

        She straightened her back and cleared her throat," Sure, of course," she nodded," is that all?" She asked. He studied her for a while then nodded." Yes, you can live." 

      He watched as she hurried out, already hating himself.

          "Sir?" He looked up to see Mrs. Smith standing at the door. He sighed," how many times do I have to tell you to call me Ryan, you're family, my mom's best friend to be exact."

      She smiled at him walking in. "I just came to remind you of the upcoming foundation anniversary, I've already started the plans alongside your PA," she nodded to the door," Don't forget your escort like last time." She joked. He shook his head as he laughed alongside her." I won't, in fact I'll inform my PA." 

     She leaned in the way you would when you want to gossip." So," she wiggled  her brows," what's up about you and Georgia, huh? " "Nothing,." He answered immediately. She shrugged as she left."Whatever you say." She sang.

     

Georgia stilled as she heard her boss calling for her from the intercom. She had been dreading him for thhe past few days and hoped to continue that way but obviously that wasn't going to happen.

      She picked her note pad and pen then hurried to his office. She knocked twice before coming in.

      

        Ryan clenched his jaw at the sight of her.

  Did she always have to look so enticing.

    Today, she was putting on a white ruffled shirt, a black jacket buttoned mid way so only the white ruffles where on display, a black pencil skirt that stopped a few inches above her knee and black and white striped heels making her legs look muck more longer. 

"Sir?" He snapped up his head," huh?" Then he shook it. This was really bad, he thought.

       I need you to contact Helen Samuel for me." She nodded writing it down. "May I ask why." 

"For the upcoming foundation anniversary." What were you thinking, that you would be his excort?

  "Here, "he gave her a full envelop and smiled as he saw her eyes widen in surprise,"What is it for." "Go buy yourself something to put on, you're coming with me."

       "Oh, that wonderful but don't you think this is too much, I can buy my own clothes."

"Its alright. Now just go and do do what I told you, Kay?" 

Sure. Thanks again." She turned to walk away." Oh Miss Davis." So they were back to first name basis, huh?

   She pushed the thought- and hurt away- and turned back." The dress code is black, white and red."

"Okay."

"And you'll be coming with my driver to meet me there, I'll also be sending someone to do your make up."

She took a deep breath drawing his eyes to her full chest where his eyes lingered on before going back to her brown eyes. "Will that be all, sir?" She asked.

    He nodded forcing himself to concentrate on the file on his desk. With that she walked away taking out her phone to inform her friends of their emergency shopping trip only to see a blond girl putting on a green sundress and green wedges who looked no other than eighteen tapping her fingers restlessly on her desk.

    "Where the hell have you been!" The unknown girl yelled.

Cliffhanger!!!!! Although its a minor cliffhanger.pls pray for my exams :-) Till next time :3.  Gdnite lovelies n God bless <3
