And be not confirmed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2 (edited)

Ryan leaned back on his chair glaring at the nonsense he had just typed. Hebsighed and ran a hand through his hair. If he continued this way, his business will come crashing down right before his eyes.

For the millionth time in four days, he let his eyes wander to his phone beside his laptop. Why couldn't he just call her? How many rimes had he willed His hands to pick up the phone and call her.

But he knew why. It was better thus way, the more he avoided her the easier it would be to forget her.

Now that was just plain stupid!

How could he forget her when the picture they had taken at her house during the party sat on top his desk encased in a dark wooden frame.

Once again, he picked it up and stared at it, stared at her, hoping if he stared long enough she would just come into his office with his breakfast in her hands and that beautiful grin on her face while she swayed those hypnotysing  hips of hers.

He dropped the picture with more force than required and ran a hand through his hair.

Yep! He had lost it for sure.

Ryan stood up and went to the translucent mirrors that formed his walls and stared down.

He scowled again. Why was the universe against him. Almost every male down there, had a woman in his arms. What was it? Valentine's day?!

Ryan

God knew she missed him more and more each day. She missed being in his arms or just being in the same room with him. She missed his rare smile, affection, his family, and all their friends.

She looked at the picture she had taken of him and Sparkle having a blinking competition at her house.

She looked around her office in Nigeria. She had designed it herself and it had felt like home to her before. She had longed for it the first time she had gone to America. So why was it feeling so foreign to her, like she was an alien that just appeared on earth.

She found herself longing for her office in America, for the warmth it provided her, for her  friendsand most if all for Ryan.

THIS chapter is short. I know, don't waste your energy telling me that. Its supposed to be a filler chapter before the last one and epilogue.
