Chapter 2

You wake up to the light abruptly being turned on. "Good morning, Y/N. Did you find your way back easily last night?" Pansy asks as she walks around the room, getting herself ready for the day. "Yeah, good thing our dorms are down in the dungeons; I would have lost my way going up those moving stairs." You sit straight up in your bed and stretch out your arms. "Oh, definitely. Nice of Mattheo to offer you that tour; you'll need it." She says and walks into the bathroom. The tour. You're a bit nervous to see Mattheo again after last night, but it's not like anything bad happened between the two of you. You almost kissed. That's it.

As you get out of bed, you start looking for a nice outfit for today. It's pretty sunny and warm out, so you decide to wear a light pink, flowery sundress. Pansy gets out of the bathroom, and you go after her. After a quick shower, you put on your dress and get yourself ready for your tour around Hogwarts.

"What time are you guys meeting up?" Pansy asks as she is putting on some makeup at her desk. "No idea. We never really decided on that..." you take your makeup bag out of your drawer as you decide to also put some on. "That's alright; he's probably joining us for breakfast anyway. We'll go to the great hall first. You guys can go on your tour afterward." Pansy says as she finishes putting on her lipstick. "Oh, I love that color, you look great!" You tell Pansy. "You can borrow it if you'd like?" She offers you the lipstick. "Thank you." You smile at her and put some on. You quickly put your hair up in a claw clip and get your handbag ready. "Are you ready to go?" Pansy asks as she also grabs her bag. "Yes, ready!" The two of you are off to the great hall...

As you arrive at the great hall, you both quickly scan the room to find the boys. You don't need much time before you find him. Mattheo and the others are sitting around the middle of the Slytherin table. "There they are." You point at them, and you go towards the table. There are two spots left, one next to Theo; Pansy obviously takes that one and gives him a quick kiss on the lips. The other spot is between Mattheo and Tom. How convenient. You sit down and greet everyone good morning.

"I hope you're well-rested for our tour today." Mattheo says and smiles at you. "Yeah, you had a pretty long night, didn't you Y/N?" Tom says, joining in on the conversation. "How about you guys? Did that man keep you up for much longer?" You ask trying to get some answers. "Don't put your nose in other people's business, Y/N. That usually doesn't end well." Tom says with a stern look on his face and continues eating. "I'll explain later, okay? Let's just enjoy breakfast for now." Mattheo says and grabs another piece of toast. You eat your food as you catch up with the others and try to have a nice morning...

Everyone finishes their breakfast, and you all get up from the table. "You ready?" Mattheo smiles at you. "As ready as I'll ever be." You smile back at him, and the two of you are off on your tour.

He starts by showing you everything inside the castle. He guides you around all the common rooms and classrooms. He takes you to the library and also shows you the restricted section, just in case you will ever need it. He explains the Room of Requirement to you and how it only appears when you are in need of it. You go to the headmaster's office, where Dumbledore spends a lot of his time. To finish off inside the castle, he takes you to the astronomy tower.

"Wow. Beautiful," you say as you look out at the view. "I know, right? It's one of my favorite spots around here. The view and that breeze... It really helps clear your mind." The two of you stand there for a while, taking it all in. "Come on, we should go outside before it gets dark," Mattheo says, and you continue your tour.

On the Hogwarts grounds, Mattheo shows you the Quidditch Pitch. "This is where I show my amazing seeker skills." "You play Quidditch?" You say surprised. "What is so unbelievable about that?" Mattheo says, slightly hurt by your comment. "I didn't see you as the athletic type." You giggle quietly as you keep walking. "Excuse me?" Mattheo runs after you and starts defending himself. "I am, in fact, very athletic." "I guess I'll have to come to one of your games and see for myself," you say and smile flirtatiously. Mattheo smirks back at you, and you go to the next stop on the tour.
