It's Friday, and you're having a big party at the Black Lake since it's spring and the weather has been nice. Everyone from the school is invited, and some people have already arrived as you're still setting the last things up. "Matty, could you make a few fire pits?" "Of course, Princess. Anything for you." He smiles at you and conjures a few fire pits around the lake to light the area up and keep everyone warm as the sun goes down. "Hey, Theo, how is it going with the drinks?" You walk over to him as he's mixing a few things together at the drinks table. "Great. I just finished making my special drink. Do you want to try it?" He hands you a cup and you take a small sip from it. "Ahem. That's... um... strong." You say with a ragged voice. "I know. It's so good, right?" Theo grins, and you raise your eyebrows at him. "Sure. Really good." You awkwardly smile at him and walk over to Enzo and Olina. "Don't drink too much of Theo's special drink. It will definitely kill you." You warn them, and they chuckle.

"Hi Y/N." Luna walks over to you, and you greet her with a hug. "Hey, Luna! How have you been? I feel like I haven't seen you in a while." you say, and she nods. "Oh, I have been busy! Most days I was out near the Forbidden Forest, looking for Crumple-Horned Snorkacks- I think I almost spotted one yesterday! They're quite good at hiding, you know." She explains, and you just nod and smile at her. "You're really interesting, you know? In the best way possible, of course." you tell her, and she smiles. "Thank you." she says, and suddenly your phone goes off. You take out of your bag and see a message from Blaise.

"Excuse me, Luna. I have to go. I'll talk to you later!" You wave her goodbye and walk over to Blaise. He nervously looks around and puts his hands in his pockets. "What's wrong?" you ask him with a frown. "Remember when Luna and I kissed on New Year's?" You nod. "Well, let's just say I've kind of been... maybe avoiding her a bit since then..." He looks down, and you hit his arm. "What the h*ll, Y/N?" Blaise rubs it in pain. "Why would you ignore her? I thought you liked her?" you yell at him and cross your arms. "I didn't know what to do. It might surprise you, Y/N, but I'm not that good with girls. Usually, they just come to me. But Luna... I mean, you know. She's literally not like other girls. Not like anyone, honestly." Blaise shrugs. "Yeah, I know. I can barely understand half of what she says." You chuckle lightheartedly and notice a smile creeping up on Blaise's face. "I understand her. You just have to actually listen to her. It can be difficult for the untrained ear, but after all these years, she makes perfect sense to me." It's like all his worries melt away at the thought of Luna. "Just go tell her that you like her. I don't think we need any big schemes for this one, Blaise. You'll be fine." You pat him on the back and walk over to Luna together. "Y/N, I don't think-" "Luna! Look who's here!" You push him closer to her and slowly walk away, leaving them to it.

Blaise's POV

I can feel the sweat trickling down my face as I smile at her. "Oh, hi, Blaise." She looks at me with the purest smile, as if I haven't been an *sshole to her these past couple of months. "It's been a while. So, um... how have you been?" Her eyes brighten. "Oh, I've been quite well! Did you know that Wrackspurts are more active in the spring? It's fascinating, really-they tend to linger near water, like this lake, and I think they're attracted to certain people's thoughts. You've probably got a few floating around you now." She tilts her head, studying me. I blink, thrown off by how even more beautiful she looks as the sun is setting behind her. "Wrackspurts?" I blurt out a few moments later. "Yes! Invisible little creatures that make your brain go fuzzy. Don't worry, though. I've got something that keeps them away." She reaches into her bag, pulls out a small crystal tied to a bit of twine and hands it to me. "Here, just in case." I take it, relaxing a bit. "Thanks, Luna. I, um... I think I could use all the help I can get." Her face brightens. "You're very welcome, Blaise. I always thought you had good energy, even if it's a bit cloudy sometimes. I like that." I chuckle, feeling a bit more at ease. "Cloudy, huh? Well, I like your energy too." I take a deep breath and stand up straight. Would you maybe- like to- Hogsmeade or something- sometime with me and- We could-" Luna suddenly takes my hand in hers and smiles up at me.
