It had taken a good three weeks for everything to settle down. Megumi and Tsumiki were still a little wary of Satoru's presence, but she knew they could tell he was trying his best to get along with him.

In the end, she had decided to attend Jujutsu Tech with Satoru but since both Tsumiki and Megumi were going to school nearby, she convinced Satoru that she doesn't need to move to a better place.

There was a part of her that didn't want to leave because she childishly hoped Toji would return. If not for the time they spent together, maybe for his kids?

She knew he's dead, but it was just hard hard accept.

She didn't want to feel the emptiness after accepting that fact and she wasn't ready yet.

In the end, some precautions were taken for Megumi and Tsumiki to attend normal school until middle school at least.

The daily routine of waking up, packing lunch boxes and heading to work multiple part times changed.

She woke up, packed their lunch boxes, sent them to school and hopped on the train to meet Satoru by the entrance of the station towards Jujutsu Tech.

Even though she told him not to wait for her, he was always there, surrounded by a bunch of girls who squealed and tried to get his number.

It was overwhelming every time he spots her and beams at her, ignoring the girls who in return just glare at her as Satoru approaches her.

But a few days later and she was already used to it. Everywhere she went with Satoru and Suguru, it was the same.

" You're here! "

She blinked, pausing. Lowering the sandwich she was munching on, she stared in slight disbelief.

As if Satoru wasn't enough, it seemed today Suguru wanted to join to pick her up. And the amount of girls has doubled.

" Here! " Satoru waved, weaving through the girls and reach her. " Oh, a sandwich! "

He leaned down, taking a bite out of the sandwich from her hands.

She blinked, looking up at Satoru with wide eyes. " Hey, that was...mine. "

Satoru covered his mouth, forcefully swallowing it with a sour face. " ACK! Why is it so salty? "

She chuckled, greeting Suguru by offering him a fresh sandwich,
" Megumi made it for me. Here's
yours. "

Satoru shakes his head, quickly stuffing his in his mouth, " That's understandable. " He snickered, " That's cute of Megumi-chan. "

" I've got to meet him soon. " Suguru smiled," You both always bring these 2 kids up everytime we talk. "

" They're adorable! " Satoru beamed, pulling out his flip phone, " Here, see. This grumpy one is Megumi, and that's Tsumiki. "

" Mhm. " Suguru chuckled as he stared at the picture, nodding. " Cute, indeed. "
