Aurora placed a gloss to her lips, looking at reflection in the mirror. She flattened out her dress, her hands clenching for a moment. She was wearing a short black dress, with spaghetti straps. It hugged against her body, showing off each curve.

Aurora didn't feel good as she looked at her reflection, immediatley wanting to put on a baggy jumper and jeans. It was Ginny that told her she should go, and that she should wear this dress. Aurora had got it in the summer of her fifth year when she went to a charity shop, but never found the time or use to wear it.

Her long hair was down, soft waves showing of her ginger hair. It fell down her back, each curl perfectly twisted. Her face was quite bare, only mascara and lip gloss. She had silver jewlery on, small little diamonds in her ears that used to belong to her mother. Her rings were a present from Ginny for her birthday.

On her feet where her old battered Doc Martens, something that she had bought when she went shopping with Harry when they went to London with the Durselys.

"Wow Ro....you look good". Ginny said, a wide smile on her face as she walked into the sixth year dorm room. Aurora turned her head and smiled at the youngest Weasley. "Thank you Gin". She whispered, her eyes landing back at the mirror.

Aurora didn't know if the golden trio were going or not, it was never mentioned to her. She had convinced Neville and Luna to go with her. As long as she had some friends there, she didn't mind.

They walked down to the common room, to find Neville waiting for them. Aurora smiled as she looked at him, her eyes taking in his apperance. He was wearing blue jeans, and a white shirt, with a red tie.

"You look really good Nev". Aurora said softly, a warm smile on her face. Neville looked at her, his cheeks turning red. "Tha...thank you Aurora". He muttered softly.

The two girls hooked arms with Neville, walking out of the common room. They had to be quiet as it was past curfew, and of course someone would be out patrolling the halls. The prefects that were out that night ensured that everyone got to the Hufflepuff common room, planning on meeting everyone else later on.

The trio entered the common room, the smell of smoke and alcohol filled the air. Aurora looked over to the corner to see Harry, Hermione and Ron all standing together. Her eyes rolled as she made her way towards the table that was set up with drinks.

"So you did turn up then?" Blaise asked, a smirk on his face as he poured himself a drink.

Aurora grabbed a cup, filling it up with what ever alcohol she could get her hands on. "Well this better be a good party Blaise, because I could be doing better things right now". She replied.

Blaise snorted. "What like Theo?" He asked. Aurora turned to face him, her cup coming up to her mouth. Her eyebrows were raised as she warned him to stop.

Blaise looked her up and down, his head nodding slightly. "You look good". He muttered. Aurora smiled up at him as he threw his arm around her. "You don't look to bad yourself". She said, her arm around his waist.

"Hello Aurora". Luna said, a smile on her face as she stood in front of her. Aurora took in what Luna was wearing. It was a pink dress, with multicoloures ribbons all over it. "You look nice Luna". She said, a warm smile on her face.

"Thank you, I made it". Luna said as she looked down at her dress. Blaise rolled his eyes as he took a sip of his drink. He didn't mind Luna, but he knew if any of his house saw him standing with her, he wouldn't hear the end of it. Aurora was okay to be seen around, as his friends knew they were best friends, but anyone else that wasn't seen as 'acceptable' was not allowed.

They watched as Luna moved away from them, making her way to Neville and Ginny who were standing with Dean and Seamus.

"Where's the rest of your group?" Aurora asked as she looked up at Blaise. He nodded his head towards a corner, and there they were. Daphne and Pansy where snuggled up beside each other on a two seater. The two girls looking like something you would see in a magazine.
