We had a simple ceremony in a small local church surrounded by friends and family, then a small reception in a local hall nothing extravagant but good enough for us. We decorated the room with white lilies and red roses and tied red ribbon around the chairs, like I said, nothing fancy. The party lasted well into the night, but we still found time to consummate the marriage later on per his request. The honeymoon lasted for 9 days in sunny Spain, as that's all we could afford at the time, but it was still a great holiday to enjoy together before real life began. Only 5 months into our marriage, I fell pregnant. I was terrified to tell Mark because we had many arguments regarding children, he definitely did not want a child. But to me it was a miracle and one I would not sacrifice.
