Filler chapter
Elizabeth felt horrible when her phone started ringing. "Hello?" She answered as she tried her best not to gag.
"What's wrong?"
"Sick with the flu." She tells him. "I thought you had a game? I know you wanted me to be there..."
"Elizabeth, you are sick, baby and you don't need to be there. Besides, I'm riding the bus. Jason and Lucas got kicked off." He tells her. "Liz, I got you something, but I won't be able to give it to you. So I dropped it off at the cafe. Your mom has it."
A knock on her door had her looking to see her mom. "Nathan dropped this teddy bear off. I guess Lucas told him you were sick." She tells him.
"He didn't believe him because his on the phone." She tells her. "Thank you, mom."
Karen nodded as she kissed her daughter's head and walked out. Smiling, she had one thing to say. "Thank you, Nathan. You are the sweetest person I have ever met."
"Only for you."
