This Isn't a Normal Story Anymore

Chiro dragged Akihito into the cave, despite his struggles and protests. The cave was dark and narrow, with the only way to go being forward. So that's exactly what they did. Chiro dragged Akihito until they both came to a stop, as well as Aikihito's protests.

"Why'd we stop-?"

"Well it looks like instead of walking, now we have to climb."

"WHAT?!"

Akihito quickly spun around, looking up at the massive and...extremely steep and rocky wall.

"Wha- How?! It didn't even look that tall when we were outside!! Why don't we just go back to looking for the others? I-I'm sure they couldn't have gone that far...eheheheh...R-Right? We'll be able to find them eventually!! Why don't we just turn around and-"

"Lets climb it!!"

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! I BARELY HAVE ENOUGH ARM STRENGTH TO CARRY YOU, LET ALONE CLIMB UP A STEEP ASS WALL!!"

"That's why I'll climb below you to catch you in case you fall!! It'll be easy!!"

"BUT WHAT IF I KNOCK YOU DOWN AND-"

"Stop yelling. It hurts my ears."

Akihito took a deep breath, turning around.

"Nope. Never. Not a ever. I'm going back and-"

Chiro grinned.

"No!! We're climbing!! Just once. If you or I fall, then so be it. We'll turn around and keep looking for Kima Kio and Lio. Deal?"

"..."

Akihito considered to 2 choices carefully. On one hand, it couldn't be that bad to just try it out. On the other hand...What if they got hurt and weren't able to walk? They'd be stuck in the cave forever with no way out.

"Fine."

Buuuuuuuuuuut it would be easier to listen to Chiro and try it rather than hear him whine the rest of the way to finding the others.

Aki trembled slightly, staring up the wall. He was currently unable to see the top-- if that even did exist. Maybe it was just a tall wall that lead to the ceiling. Who the fuck knows anymore...Akihito may be interested in the secrets this forest has to offer, but he never actually took action in confirming his theories. That was too scary for him. He was just they guy who came up with them. Boring, I know.

"You gonna climb or not!!"

Aki jumped, sighing.

"W-Well-"

"DO IT!!"

He stared at the wall before he looked around for possible spots to plant his limbs.

Here...No, I'd fall for sure...Maybe- no, no...God damn this is harder than it looks....ugh...

He eventually began climbing the wall, still feeling a bit uneasy about all of this.

Don't look down. Do NOT look down. Think of Chiro...yeah...Chiro...heh...kind of sounds like churro....hehe

He laughed softly, his hand slipping as he did.

Well this is the end. I guess I can successfully say that I died by thinking of a literal churro...I knew Chiro wouldn't catch me...Welp, this is goodbye-

Akihito awaited the end, his eyes shut tightly. He didn't bother screaming. What use would it do anyways? Screaming wouldn't safe him from having his guts splattered on the ground. But, the 'end' never came.

"Huh-?"

He opened his eyes, only to be met with Chiro's. Aki's face went red as he quickly looked away. It seemed like they were on the ground of the cave now, but Chiro must've jumped off to catch him...how sweet...

SO FUCKING EMBARRASSNG!!!

Aki screamed silently in his head, praying to dear God that Chiro wouldn't bring this up in the future.

"Yooooooou ok-?"

Aki looked back up at Chiro, his face slightly red. He tried glaring at Chiro, but it barely worked at all.

"P-Put me down now..."

Chiro smirked.

F-Fuck...

He set Akihito down on the ground softly, making sure Aki was stable before letting go. Chiro stared at Aki, while Aki would refuse to look at him.

Something is wrong with me. I don't like him. He's annoying. And obnoxious. And egocentric. And....and funny...

"You're spacing out, Aki!!"

Akihito jumped slightly at the sound of Chiro's voice, though it wasn't much of a surprise. Aki often spaced out when he was thinking. Especially if he was in deep thought.

"Whatever...Let's just get out of here..."

Chiro nodded, following Akihito out of the cave.

And Chiro's name is like churro. Why? Because Chiro's mom loves churros, so she named her son to sound like his name was churro, except with slight pronunciation differences. Aki's mom...Welp, Aki's mom just made up a name. Everything else sounded basic. Lio and Kio are cousins btw.
