Demi POV

   After Christmas Joe and Nick left to New York. Layla wanted to stay in Texas a little long to celebrate the new years with Mike then she was gonna fly back to California. Everyone wanted me to stay in Texas till after new years but I couldn't. They know I'm always in a weird mood when I'm there. So after Christmas I couldn't wait to leave Texas . I took Wilmer advice and decided to take a road trip. Joe didn't know, I planned on driving back to California. I've done it before with no stops and on drugs. I don't remember some parts of that drive. This time I decided to be smart and take my body guard max on the road with me. Paul felt better when I mentioned max could come.

   It took us 3 days to get to California. Where Aiden and I really got to enjoy the time alone.

   Tonight was New Year's Eve and Wilmer was having a party at his house.

   I kinda been lying to everyone on what is really going on between Wilmer and I. Everyone thinks I haven't seen Wilmer since he showed up at Thanksgiving. Which wasn't necessarily true. Wilmer and I would meet up once a week or when we could just for some casual sex. Our relationship never leaves his house or the heated text messages between us.

   Since no one was in California to watch Aiden tonight. I asked my body guard Max and he didn't mind watching him. Max has been my body guard since the very beginning of my career. We have definitely built a father/ daughter relationships. He didn't like it when we called him grandpa max so Aiden calls him Uncle Max and I think it's so cute. He really was apart of the family.

   But before I called Max to babysit I did call Tiffany and Chris to see if they can watch him or if they planned on going to Wilmer party because I also didn't wanna attend or socialize only if they where going to be there. During our phone conversation she mentioned they were out of town visiting her family in Arkansas and wouldn't be back for a couple days. That answered my question. I don't know why I didn't wanna mention Wilmer name to her. She would be thrilled we were on talking/ seeing terms since she did make Wilmer and I god parents to her son, but I didn't tell her. No one knew anything and I wanted to keep it that way.

   Since Tiffany and Chris weren't attending Wilmer New Year's Eve party. I was gonna show up late. After all I was only showing up for one thing.

   When I got to Wilmers house. His house was packed, that was no surprise he always did throw big parties. I passed his house and went around the block because I really couldn't find a parking. I wanted to park on street so no one would block me in. I almost gave up when I drove around the block for a second time. I thought about going back home when I got a text message from Wilmer.

From Wilmer 💙🐺: It's almost midnight. Are you still coming?

I didn't text him I was on my way because I wanted to surprise him,... and show up unannounced in his bedroom. But first I had to sneak into his house. I decided to just drive up the drive way and see if there was an open spot to park. As soon as I drove up the drive way his best friend and body guard Todo came up to me car.

"What's sup D, how's is going" He asked slurring a bit

"I'm good, just looking for a parking" I said shyly

"Oh Willy made me save this spot for you" Todo said and pointed to a spot along the side of the house that my car can fit in.

"Thanks Todo" I said before I drove up a little to park.

Todo waited for me to get out of my car and I kinda wished he didn't. I really didn't feel like conversing. Let alone let people spot me.

"Where is he?" I asked as Todo took a drink from his beer that he was holding
