New Years

Demi POV

  When I pulled up to my house. I wasn't crying as bad as I was 30 minutes ago. When I first left Wilmer house. Gawd, why did Wilmer have to pop back up in my life.

As I was driving up my driveway. I saw Lucas sitting on my steps. I quickly put my car in parked before I turned it off and stepped out of my car.

"Max and Aiden are inside. You could of rang the door bell" I said

"Yes top fly security already saw me. I told him I'll wait for you out here" Lucas said

"Awe, thanks Lucas and by the way happy new years" I said as I gave him a side hug.

"Happy new years D, where are coming from. It's it kinda early still" Lucas said looking at the watch on his wrist it was barely 12:45am. On new years

"Yea long story" I said in que like if I didn't wanna talk about it and i didn't I didn't wanna cry.

We stepped into the house and headed towards the living room where we can hear the tv on.

"Hey Maxie happy new years" I said waking in

"Happy new years" max said getting up from the couch. Aiden was asleep next to him.

"How was he?" I asked

"He stayed asleep since you left" max said

"Thanks again for watching him" I said

"No problem at all. I'm gonna head off to bed" Max said

"Goodnight" Lucas and I said quietly so we didn't wake up Aiden.

"Let go to the roof" I told Lucas as I picked up Aiden.

   We headed upstairs to my room where I put Aiden down on the bed under the covers. Then followed Lucas outside to the roof. We sat in the lawn chairs.

"So what brings you buy" I asked

"It's new years I didn't wanna go home just yet" Lucas said

"I do like a man in uniform on my front porch when I come home" I said joking he was only in his scrubs

"Haha very funny. So where are you coming from. I have time to listen to this long story" Lucas said and I rolled my eyes playfully

"It's actually not that long" I said and took a minute to think how I was gonna say this. Without getting into my feelings and start crying, but as I was thinking about the situation again my eyes got watery.

"Wilmer and I broke up" I said as I closed my eyes for a second and a few tear escaped my eyes.

"When did you start dating Wilmer again" Lucas asked very confused he was like a best friend so he kinda knew everything that goes on in my life.

"We didn't make it official. We just been hooking up the past 5 weeks" I said

"Since thanksgiving?" Lucas asked

"Yea it sucks you had to work that day, Wilmer showed up"

"You fucked him on thanksgiving. When your house was full of your family?" Lucas asked kinda laughing

"Nooo,...it was the next day" I said laughing and it made him laugh.

"So what happened" Lucas asked

"He confessed his love for me tonight and wanted to get back together" I said there were still tears in my eyes but not that much.

"Wow,... that's great. I'm surprised he wanted another chance" Lucas said
