Pro's:
- ig some renditions of it are pretty cute
- Emotional Support Metal just sounds cute xdddd
- Warm and loving Amy and more cold and emotionless Metal just makes sense in my head for either them being a couple or best friends
Con's:
- Metal is a robot so cannot feel emotions
- He was made to destroy Amy's crush
- It can be argued that Amy only has eyes for sonic so would be either using Metal to make Sonic jealous or he would be a rebound she threw herself at (okay now I want to make that a part of an upcoming book)
- Amy is a very warm and loving person but I doubt Metal would get a pass
