Pros:
-The whole opposites attract I suppose
-Shadow 'let' her hug him in SA2
-Amy was somewhat integral to Shadow joining forces with Sonic
-Shadow has a lot of female infiuence with Rouge so Amy's mannerisms would most likely me a norm for him he can combat
-Both are somewhat polite towards one another
Cons:
-Shadow isn't very affectionate
-Amy is obsessed with Sonic
-Amy makes any relationship overly toxic
-I doubt Shadow can actually keep up with and respect Amy - he seems to be mainly civil towards her and he hasn't seen her enough to have a full opinion
-Amy is moreso the type to settle down, Shadow never will.
-Immortality/survivors guilt would plague Shadow
-Amy's affection would and has bewildered and put off most people
