Chapter 5: Sweet Surprises

The aroma of Korean and Moroccan delicacies filled the air as Nora and Minji placed the dishes on the tables. The vibrant colors of kaab ghzal, fakkas, and chebbakia contrasted with the contemporary setting of EXO's residence.

Minji: "Nora, these Moroccan sweets look amazing. I'm sure they'll love them!"

Nora: "I hope so! Let's make this a memorable welcome for our new neighbors."

As they arranged the sweets, Sehun entered the room, his eyes widening at the sight of the treats.

Sehun: (excitedly) "Kai, you've got to see this! We've got some amazing neighbors, and they brought the most incredible sweets!"

In a playful manner, Sehun shouted, "Kai!" in a funny, exaggerated tone. Moments later, Kai stumbled into the room, his hair disheveled, wearing a pajama that could only be described as "unique."

Sehun: "Kai, meet our new neighbors! Nora and Minji!"

Kai: (rubbing his eyes) "Hey, sorry, I just woke up. Nice to meet you both."

Nora chuckled, finding the unexpected encounter amusing.

Minji: "Hi! We brought some Korean and Moroccan treats to welcome you all."

Sehun, with a mischievous grin, continued to tease Kai about his appearance.

Sehun: "You know, Kai usually looks much better than this. This is just the morning version."

As Baekhyun joined the gathering, he couldn't help but join Sehun in poking fun at Kai.

Baekhyun: "Kai, what happened to your hair? Did you have a wrestling match with your pillow?"

Meanwhile, Kai, still half-asleep and disoriented, struggled to recognize Nora.

Kai: "I'm sorry, have we met before? My brain is still in sleep mode."

Sehun: (whispering to Kai) "Dude, they were at the concert! The ones who brought these amazing sweets!"

Suddenly, it clicked for Kai. He remembered Nora and Minji and was shocked by his current appearance.

Kai: (mortified) "Oh no, this is not how I usually look! I'm so sorry."

D.O, who had witnessed the hilarious exchange, decided to intervene.

D.O: "Kai, go get dressed properly. You can't meet our new neighbors like this."

He gave Kai a light kick in the butt, prompting him to retreat to his room to fix his appearance.

D.O: "Sorry about that. He's not a morning person."

Nora, amused by the unexpected turn of events, couldn't help but laugh.

Nora: "No worries at all. It's been quite the welcome!"

The rest of the EXO members, now joined by Chen, Xiumin, and Chanyeol, continued to chat with Nora and Minji, sharing stories and laughter, setting the stage for an unexpectedly delightful morning filled with sweet surprises.

Baekhyun: "I've seen bed hair, but this is a whole new level, Kai. Did you fight a hurricane in your sleep?"

Chanyeol: "Maybe he's trying out a new concept for our next album – 'The Morning Mess.'"

Sehun: "I've never seen someone so dedicated to the 'I woke up like this' look."

Amidst the banter, Kai emerged from his room, now well-groomed and dressed appropriately. The transformation drew cheers and applause from the members.

Suho: "There he is! The man of the hour, looking presentable."

Kai: (blushing) "Sorry about that. Mornings and I don't really get along."

Minji: (teasing) "It's alright, Kai. We've all been there. But hey, your morning look was quite the spectacle!"

The room erupted in laughter once again, and even Kai couldn't help but join in on the playful teasing.

Kai: "Alright, alright. I'll make sure to avoid any mirrorless encounters in the morning from now on."

As the laughter subsided, Chen chimed in with a playful grin.

Chen: "Nora, I hope you don't judge us all based on Kai's morning shenanigans. We usually look more presentable, I promise."

Nora: "Oh, don't worry. It's all in good fun. Besides, it's not every day you get to witness an idol's morning glow!"

D.O: "Kai, you should consider trademarking that morning look. Who knows, it might become a trend."

Kai: "I'd rather stick to trends that involve more than just bedhead and sleep-induced fashion choices."

Sehun, always ready with a witty remark, couldn't resist adding to the fun.

Sehun: "You know, I heard Vogue is looking for a new cover model, and they specifically asked for a 'just woke up' aesthetic. You might be onto something, Kai."

The room erupted in laughter once again, with Kai rolling his eyes but unable to hide a small grin.

Baekhyun: "Nora, welcome to the behind-the-scenes of EXO. This is the real glamour right here."

Nora: "I'm loving every moment of it. You guys are hilarious!"

As the teasing continued, Chen leaned in to share a secret with Nora.

Chen: (whispering) "Between us, Kai is usually the one who takes the longest to get ready. You just caught him off guard this morning."

Nora couldn't help but chuckle at the revelation, realizing that even idols have their moments of morning chaos.

Suho: "Alright, enough making fun of Kai. We've got more surprises in store for you, our lovely neighbors!"
