Chapter 13: The Morning Surprise

The sun began to cast its warm glow over the quiet Seoul neighborhood. In the early hours of the morning, Kai, still in his pajamas, caught a glimpse of Nora through the window, playing along with the mystery Chanyeol had set in motion. Fueled by a spontaneous burst of excitement, he decided to join the fun.

In swift strides, Kai reached Nora's doorstep and knocked urgently. Nora, still in the midst of her morning routine, opened the door with a quizzical look on her face.

Nora: "Kai, what's going on? Why are you in such a hurry?"

Before Nora could fully comprehend the situation, Kai, overcome with relief and joy, pulled her into a tight hug. Minji, witnessing the unexpected embrace, joined Nora in shock.

Kai: "Nora, I thought I'd lost you! I never want to feel that way again."

Nora, touched by Kai's sincerity, couldn't help but smile. However, as she noticed Kai's attire, a mischievous gleam entered her eyes.

Nora: (teasingly) "Kai, is this the latest fashion trend or a new morning ritual?"

Minji, holding back her laughter, couldn't resist joining in the banter.

Minji: "Well, someone clearly didn't have time to change."

Amused by the situation, Nora and Minji shared a laugh. Unbeknownst to them, the other members of EXO, who had gathered at the windows to witness the morning spectacle, couldn't contain their amusement.

Chanyeol: (laughing) "Kai, my man, you really know how to make a morning memorable!"

Baekhyun: "I guess pajama parties are the new morning routine."

Nora: (teasingly) "Kai, you sure know how to make an entrance. Is this the latest fashion trend, or did you forget to set your alarm?" 

Then Kai realises what was he wearing

Chanyeol: (laughing from the window) "Kai, man, you've got the whole neighborhood talking now!"

Baekhyun: "Who knew morning dramas were a thing? Kai, you're a trendsetter."

Kai, now in good spirits and embracing the teasing, waved up at his fellow EXO members.

Kai: "Just adding a bit of spice to the morning routine, guys. Next time, I'll make sure to wear my morning superhero cape!"

Sehun: (grinning) "Can't wait for that fashion statement, Kai."

As the laughter echoed through the morning air, Kai, Nora, Minji, and the members of EXO shared a moment of camaraderie, turning an unexpected surprise into a cherished memory.
