After what felt like forever, I walked back over to my desk and logged into my email and I clicked on the Zoom link, my heart racing with a mix of nerves and excitement. This was it the moment I had been waiting for.

As the video call connected, I found myself face-to-face with a virtual classroom filled with aspiring future engineers just like me.

For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to become an "engineer" an "architectual engineer" to be exact I don't know there is just something I find aspiring about building things and seeing things before anyone else gets to and just be apart of something and feel like i have control over something and feel important or needed by someone or something for once in my life . One day I want to be able to say that I've made it I want to be successful and feel proud of my self and maybe hopefully make my parents proud. I don't ever want to depend on a man in my life someday I want to move out of this horrible place and see the world meet people and start a life of my own away from this where everyone hate eachother...
That Is why I'm determined to work hard now so I'll just be able to leave this place faster.

The professor introduced himself and announced that there was a new student joining there class "which was me of course". Then he asked me to introduce myself , I then turn on my mike and nervously spitted out. "H-hi my name is a-ariah everheart I'll be joining this course from today. Nice to meet u all" .

A few of the other people kindly welcomed me with a few words. Which made me feel less like the odd one out.

Then the professer started sharing his screen, diving into a presentation about the fundamentals of engineering. I listened intently, my eyes glued to the screen, eager to absorb every bit of knowledge being shared.

As the class progressed, I couldn't help but feel a surge of determination. This was my chance to pursue my dream, to make a difference in the world through engineering. I took out my notebook and pen, ready to jot down every important detail, every equation, and every concept.

Throughout the class, I actively participated in discussions, sharing my thoughts and ideas with my classmates. It was amazing to connect with others who shared the same passion and drive. We exchanged insights, challenged each other's perspectives, and supported one another along the way.

By the end of the online class, I felt a sense of accomplishment and eagerness for what lay ahead. This was just the beginning of my journey, and I was determined to put in the hard work and dedication needed to become the engineer I've always dreamed of being.

After the meeting had ended i went through all of my notes and tested myself to see what I've learnt.

By the time I was done it was already 1:30pm which was time for me to get lunch since I missed it . The meeting had lasted for about two and a half hours but didn't even feel that long.

As soon as my last lesson ended, I let out a sigh of relief. I quickly packed up my books and headed downstairs to the kitchen, my stomach rumbling with hunger.

The familiar smell of my mom's cooking filled the air, making my mouth water. I grabbed a plate and piled it high with my favorite snacks and the sandwich my mom had prepared for me. With my lunch in hand, I made my way back to my room, eager to enjoy my meal in the comfort of my own space.

As I settled onto my bed, I took a moment to appreciate the silence and solitude, a rare luxury in my busy day. With each bite, I felt a sense of satisfaction and relaxation wash over me, fueling me for the rest of the day.

After I ate I took my dishes back downstairs and came right back to my bed and snuggled up with my bear, All cozy in bed, I kicked up my feet and snuggled into the soft blankets. With the book in my hands, I couldn't contain my excitement. As I delved into the story, a smile crept across my face, and I couldn't help but giggle at the witty dialogue and unexpected plot twists.

The characters felt so real, and I found myself fully immersed in their world. Each page turned brought a new wave of anticipation, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The combination of the captivating story and the comfort of my bed made for the perfect reading experience. It was moments like these that reminded me of the sheer joy and magic that books can bring.

As I heard a knock on my door quicking opening my eyes not realizing that I feel asleep while reading. I got up and opened it , it was my mom telling me that we would going out to a family dinner in 2 hours so I need to get ready.

As tired as I was I had to go. So i walked into my bathroom stareing at myself in the mirror with my hair all messy and my eyes looking tired.

I stepped into the shower , feeling the steamy warmth embrace me as I turned on the shower. The water cascaded down, and I closed my eyes, letting the droplets wash away the stress of the day. It was like a gentle massage for my soul, easing the tension from my shoulders and making me feel lighter.

After a refreshing shower, I wrapped myself in a cozy towel and stepped onto the soft bath mat. As I stood in front of the mirror, I couldn't help but feel excited about the dinner with my parents. It was an opportunity for us to reconnect and create new memories together just like old times .

I walked over to my closet searching for the perfect outfit. I wanted to look nice but still feel comfortable. Finally, I settled on a white long sleved shirt along with a yellow looking checkerted mini dress along with my necklace that my mom gave me, with a side bag and my white air forces. I didn't really have many options anywase since I was always at home and I never really go out shopping it's always my mom or the maids that does it for me .

Its not like i was lazy or didn't want to go i was just not allowed to leave .That outfit that i was wearing made me feel confident and free. I slipped into it, feeling the fabric brush against my skin.

A quick spritz of my favorite perfume and a few touches to my hair and makeup, and I was ready to go. As I made my way downstairs, I could hear my parents' voices and see the anticipation in their eyes. It warmed my heart to know that they were looking forward to this dinner as much as I was.

We walked out the door together, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. That this dinner would finally bring our family back together.

I walked out to the driveway and entered the seat of black car along with my parents. And then the driver took off. The drive was about 30 minutes long and it was "SILENT" the entire time.
