I couldn't stop thinking about her the entire time at this meeting. How red she got when I talked to her, or when we made eye contact and she was red.

This meeting was so stupid. I don't even remember what it was for. The entire time I wasn't paying attention it was such a bore.

I own a building where I'm the CEO at. It's just a cover up though. Everyone here knows me as Chase Landers who owns the most famous building in New York. It's just a cover up for why I'm so rich.

The meeting was finally over as I got up and walked out. Most of these meetings are useless. Or about useless things

I went into my office and walked over to my desk setting the files down and going onto my computer as I do my work.

I was typing down the things I needed to when I heard a knock on the door. I snapped my head up "come in" I said harshly.

I went back to typing and then I heard Eric, my assistant walk in and I heard lighter footsteps behind him. "Sir, this is Millie Sanchez here for an interview" he said. I then snapped my head up as I made eye contact with her petite little body.

She was looking down nervously biting her lip. I don't think she's seen me yet. I then cleared my throat "you may leave Eric" I said as her head shot up.

She looked at me wide eyed and gave small smile "I guess your everywhere's" she said nervously.

"I guess so" I said smiling.

"Not in a rude way. It's just weird, I buy a house from you, I run into you in the coffee shop twice, quite literally" I laughed at that "and then I see you there again working and now I'm here to get a job from you. You're a CEO of a journalist company?" She asked confused and I nodded.

"I was surprised though. This company is one of the most famous in Brooklyn. Never thought a journalist company would be... I'm rambling sorry" she said with a nervous smile

I let out a small chuckle "it's okay. You're nervous that's all" I said in understanding.

"Thank you for understanding. I do ramble when I get nervous" I know that Millie.

"Well, what makes you think you're good for the job" I said more serious now.

She bit her lip "well, since I was young I always loved to write and read, I knew the moment I love writing it would do something in my career when I'm older. I knew it wasn't book writing because when I wrote or read books it was more on true things and people like untrue things more when reading a book. I looked more into it and then it was journalism, it was right in the tip of my tongue and I found it."

"I looked more and more into journalism and I knew it was perfect. You write stories about true events that have happened and it just fascinates me so much" she said as her eyes lit up talking about it.

"Well Millie I can see you are very passionate about this job" I said to her.

She then had a huge smile on her face "I am. It's just so interesting and amazing" she said.

She smiled "well Millie, not just because in a way we know each other I'm giving you this job but I'm giving it to you because I know you would be amazing at your job" I said and she smiled hugely.

"Really?" She screeched jumping up and down and what I didn't expect she ran up to me and gave me a hug.

Eric walked in and saw what was happening "uhm miss you can-" he started as I cut him off.

"Don't worry about it Eric" I said.

She then let go "s-sorry sir, I went over board" she said scratching her head.

She gets nervous so easily and it's so cute. "Your good princess. You can start tomorrow" I said and looked at Eric who had wide eyes. I never let someone start so early or be nice to them. Or smile. This is all firsts for him.

Eric is the only one who knows my true identity. He's my best friend. We known each other for a while. He's known me since forever really and knows I'm never nice to people. Unless people I know. But he doesn't understand who she is. He doesn't know about Millie.

We became friends when I started college. My parents were already part of them Mafia, they didn't know my parents identity either so before they died they made me hide who I was and that's why our names changed. My senior year of college I told Eric everything I knew I could trust him and now he's my right hand man. Helping with everything.

"Here let me walk you out" said Eric and she smiled politely.

They left and a few minutes later Eric came back "okay spill. Right now" he said. He knew me best.

"What?" I asked. Right now he's talking like a teenage girl. "Spill, really?" I said "I think your sister being with you for this long is rubbing onto you." I said jokingly.

"Okay, be quiet. Why were you nice to her? And you called her princess" he said to me.

I smiled "why's it matter to you?" I asked. I'm testing his patience he hates it most.

"My Lord just TELL ME" he said getting angry.

"You know that girl I told you about!" I asked.

"Yea?" He questioned then his facial expressions changed from confused as he made a knowing sound "ohhh that's the girl. I knew her name sounded so familiar" he said as I nodded.

"I finally found her Eric" I said.

"Dude, don't do anything stupid" he said.

"I won't" I then said and he gave me a knowing look "I'm not going to Eric" I said more angry and he saluted me then left. Asshole. What's he think I'm going to do?
