Asami's electric glove comes up. Fingers wrapping around Korra's throat as she slams her into the wall.

"Asami, this isn't you. You were brainwashed by Commander Guan."

Korra desperately searches the emerald eyes staring blankly at her for any sign of her Asami.

"You know nothing about me!"

"I do though Sami."

Korra grunts from the pressure on her windpipe.

"I'm your girlfriend. You have to remember."

Asami growls, tightening her grip and lifting Korra off her feet.

"I would never be with someone like you!"

Korra could see spots forming in her vision knowing it's a matter of minutes before her body forces itself into the avatar state.

"I love you Sami."

For a second Korra saw a flicker of recognition in those unyielding green eyes before she felt fingers closing tighter around her throat.

"Lies! These are all lies! Fight back Avatar!"

Korra squeezes her eyes shut. Flighting the flickering white light at the edges of her vision. Her voice becoming strained from the pressure.

"No, I won't fight you."

"I love when you come home smelling like motor oil.

I love how your face lights up when you come up with a new invention.

I love that smirk you give me before trying to pin me when we spar.

I love how no matter what you have been by my side. Whether I was at my best or my worst.

Korra took a ragged breath as she begins to  feel the darkness creeping into her consciousness.

If this is how my time ends at least I died loving her...

Asami looks down at her glove before back at Korra, blinking back tears.

"Why can't I remember anything?"

Korra lifts her hand up, cupping Asami's cheek and giving her a weak smile.
