"HOW'S THE HYPNOSIS?"

She was sitting across from where she was lying, observing her. May hawak pa itong libro tungkol sa dark psychology.

Holding her head, she swallowed. . . alaala.

The reason behind her bloody hands. . .

The organization killing her parents. . .

Jaxavion messing with her mind and hypnotizing her. . .

She tried to process them all and closed her eyes, but they kept on echoing in her mind. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang mararamdaman. The memories squeezed the air out of her lungs, and she couldn't seem to swallow the lump of emotions that was stuck in her throat.

Goddamn. This is fucked up as hell.

"Are they still tailing Jack?"

The thought of the organization tailing Jack scared the shit out of her. . . and she doesn't want to see him in that state again.

It was a nightmare seeing him like that, at hanggang ngayon, binabagabag pa rin siya.

"Nope."

Blinking her eyes, she looked at her.

They. . . aren't tailing Jack anymore?

"Does that mean that Jack is already safe? But you told me that you might need my help once I regain my memories."

"And I'm right. Alex and I need you." Enesha's statement made her mind blow.

It was her and Alex who needed her and not Jack? What does that mean?

Her heart thumped inside her ribcage when Enesha's lips parted, and words that her mind couldn't seem to process came out from her lips,

"Be careful around Jaxavion."

HER CONVERSATION WITH Enesha stayed inside her head until she got home. And knowing the truth now. . . makes her think how she should act around him.

Jaxavion knows her well.

And he would probably know if something was bugging her. But then, Jaxavion and her are just the same. When personal issues bother them and they still don't have the energy and strength to air them out, they just wait for each other to open up unless their personal problems already affect their relationship.

That's how much they respect each other's privacy.

"Hey, love." Jaxavion opened the door, and there was a smile on his face. She sighed at the sight of him, and when he wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head, her sore body started to weaken and scream in pain. That's when she realized how drained she was.

"Carry me," she muttered in a weak voice and closed her eyes, surrendering to his warmth.

She heard the door lock, and moments later, she felt his arms under her legs, and she floated. This day is exhausting. She couldn't believe that processing information could suck the energy out of her.

"You haven't eaten yet, Jill. I'll wake you up at nine, okay? Iinitin ko na lang ang pagkain. You seem so tired." Tenderness was evident in his voice. His words made the butterflies inside her stomach flutter.
