Reunited

Charli's eyes burst open at 7:30am on the dot. Today she would be seeing the Wessexes again. For the first time in 4 years.
She walked into the kitchen, which now was actually stocked with food, and saw that Alex had made eggs and bacon.
"Hey." He greeted his sister.
"Hey." She sighed.
"Everything alright?"
"Yeah, yeah, just nervous, you know? I feel like it will be awkward..."
"I get you. I think once we see them, our worries will disappear." He placed a bowl of berries on the dining kitchen counter, where Charli sat on a bar stool.

As Charli got ready, she thought about what was about to happen. Would she freak out and leave? That could be a possible outcome.

Whilst the Baileys lived in Perth, Charli had been diagnosed with anxiety, and Evie with ADHD. She had various panic attacks, most of them about bullies and Alexa. She hoped that she wouldn't have one from being so nervous. After all, everything would be fine, right?

"Char, you ready?" Theo yelled.
"Coming!" She slipped on her white converse, which matched the black and white outfit she was wearing.
She ran to the living room, where everyone was waiting.
"Ok, everyone ready?" Ryan stood up, pulling the house keys out of his pocket.
"Yes!" Evie skipped to the door, the rest of the family slowly trailing behind. "Hurry up!" She yelled, trying to open the locked car door. "I want to see Lou!"

The car ride only took about 5 minutes, and then they were parked outside on the Wessexes' Bagshot park mansion. It was unfamiliar, yet familiar at once.
"Char, come on." Alex ushered her out of the car.
"Oh, did I mention only Edward knows we've arrived back?" Ryan said, putting a finger to his mouth to tell them to be quiet. The 4 kids sent him a look that clearly said 'Well, you could have told us sooner!'.

They quietly walked up to the door, and Ryan messaged Edward. Charli's heart booked out of her chest as she saw the door knob slowly turn. They were met with the kind, caring face of Edward- who they called Uncle Ed.
"Hello!" He said excitedly, but quietly. Him and Ryan greeted each other with a manly hug, before he moved to Yvette.
"Oh my goodness, look how you lot have grown!" He said quietly, looking at the kids. He hugged Alex (again, it was a manly hug), then Evie (who did not hesitate to wrap her arms around his neck), then Charli, then Theo.
"Oh, how we've missed you! I've called a family meeting, but I said some security wanted to talk to me outside for a moment, so let's get in before they get suspicious." The Baileys followed Edward, quietly tip-toeing through the mansion.

They stopped outside of the dining room, where Edward told them to stay out of the doorframe.
"Guys, there's something here I want to show you!" He said happily.
"We'll, it must be good if you're smiling like that." Sophie grinned. Then, the Baileys walked through the door, Evie leading them.
"Oh my goodness!" Louise said.
"You're back! You're back! Oh, gosh!" They all jumped up, greeting each other with long hugs. "You're so tall!" Sophie said, hugging Evie.
They all hugged, and some tears were shed. Charli had just finished greeting Sophie, before she was tackled in a hug.
"I missed you so much!" Louise squealed.
"I missed you more!" Char wrapped her arms around Louise, who was like an older sister.
"So, did you pick up any hot boys from the beaches in Perth?" They laughed.
"No, no." Charli giggled.

Louise went to say hello to Theo, and promised they would talk more after. Then, Charli heard a familiar voice behind her.
"Lottie..." A low voice said. It was a nickname only one person ever called her. She turned around, and saw James standing in front of her.
"James!" She smiled. They met in a hug, which was sort of awkward. "I missed you."
"I missed you to." He smiled.
"Hey, you're taller than me!" She looked up, and there was at least a 12cm difference.
"Mhm." He sassed. "Bet you can't catch me." She poked her tongue out at him.

The interaction between Charli and James was awkward for many reasons, but the main one was... Charli had liked James since 2018- when they were 10/11. Louise and Piper obviously knew, but no one else did. Louise also insisted that James liked her as well, but Charli didn't think so.

"Hey kids, guess what?" Ryan said.
"What?" Evie, who was being piggy-backed by Louise, asked excitedly.
"I'm going home to go grab our stuff, and then we're having a sleepover! And, adults will be in one end of the house, kids in the other." The parents cheered.
"I guess that means..." Charli began muttering.
"Louise, Alex, you're in charge." Charli, James, Theo and Evie groaned. This was sure to be a fun night.

They were finally reunited!! I'm hoping to sneak some James and Charli scenes into the next chapter. It will be posted tomorrow (because I live in Australia, and it's night time right now), but maybe if I'm not too tired in an hour or so, I might possibly write it. IDK yet.
A few questions for you:
-What should James and Charli's ship name be? Jottie? Jarli? Chames? What are your thoughts?
-Are there any BRF x Bailey Fam ships you would like to see? I have a few in mind, but I want to see what you think!
